Fourth's POV
After 2 hours the doctors came out I got up and ran towards them.
"How is he Doc?"I asked
"He is stable now but still unconscious luckily the wound wasn't very deep but you need to take care of him for a month atleast so that the stitches don't open up.We will transfer him to the Private room you can see him after that"Doctor said
"Thank you so much Doc"
"No worries Son and where are your parents?"he asked me as he is one of my relative from father's side
"They'll be here anytime they were in Chaing Mai I informed them about this and they are coming back now"
"Okay take care of yourself and Gemini as well"
"Yes Doc"
They transferred him to a Private VIP room I completed the formalities and payments and hurried back to the room I want to be there when he wakes up.I went to the room and saw our parents were sitting on the couch.
"How did this happen"Gemini's mother asked
I told her everything from the day Minnie came back till all that happened today
"What are you gonna do about her"
"I've already got the CCTV of the parking lot she is already in prison and I'll take the case to the court"
"Okay then we'll take our leave tell him that we came when he wakes up"
"Aren't you gonna stay till he wakes up"
"We don't have all the time in this world we are busy we just came here to pay a visit I hope you will take care of him well as he is your husband if you need anything you can call us"
'Ridiculous' I mumbled
"What?"
"Nothing but if you forgot he is your son and rather than staying with him for some time you guys prefer to leave and do your works nevermind I'll definitely take good care of my husband and no I don't need anything from y'all"
"FOURTH"my father said
"This is a hospital atleast keep your voice down here and the patient is sleeping don't disturb him you may leave now"I showed them the way out.
And thats it they left the place I went towards the bed and sat down on the chair which was kept beside the bed.I held his hands in mine caressing them with my thumb "Why are our parents so mean towards us Gem you are injured but they prefer to leave and do there works this sucks a lot.But don't worry na I'll be here when you wake up.Take rest Gem and I'm waiting for you.Mr.Husband you better get up soon or else I'm sulking with you"I said it to him while wiping my tears
It hurts to see him like this lying on the bed without speaking anything.
I sat like that for the whole night holding his hand tightly I didn't even sleep a blink.
The next morning
He was still not awake yet the doctor came and did his checkup and told me that he is perfectly fine and will get up soon.They put a new IV on him and left the room.I freshed up pretty fast and went back to look out for him.It was past Noon and he is still sleeping.
"Gem....Gem get up already please I wanna know it by yourself that you are feeling fine Please wake up"And again my tears kept falling uncontrollably and I put my head beside his hand I didn't even know when I drifted off to sleep.
Gemini's POV
I squinted my eyes and looked at my surroundings trying to recognise where I am I looked at my hand and found an IV attached on it sighing I understood that I'm in the hospital.I looked beside me and saw a beautiful angel sleeping while holding my hands tightly,holding to his dear life as if I'll go somewhere.
One nurse came in and saw that I'm already up she went back to call the doctor I suppose.After some minutes Doc came and asked me,"Are you feeling okay Gem son"
"Yes uncle"
"Are you feeling weak"
"Yes a little bit"
"That's normal luckily your wound wasn't that deep but you need to rest for a whole month don't do something which can stress the would please take care so that the stiches don't open up"
"Yes Doc"
"Your parents came yesterday but they went back very soon"
"I don't expect anything else from them Uncle"
"But you see that kid sleeping beside you he was awake for the whole night until Noon he kept looking out for you.Whenever he saw a Lil bit discomfort with you he called us to check you up.He didn't even left your side for a second.I don't know if he ate something or not I told him to eat something in the morning but I don't know if he had it.This boy is worth everything Gemini you better be with him always."
"I know uncle"I said to him stroking Fourth's hair lightly,"I will definitely take care of him always he is my husband after all"
"I'll take my leave please press the button beside you if you need something"
"Sure Uncle thank you for looking out for me"
"It's my duty son"he smiled at me and left the room
I kept stroking Fourth's hair after some minutes he started squinting his eyes looking at the surroundings as soon as he saw me he was stuck like that for a minute or two.When he came back from his daydream he brought his hand towards my cheek and stroked it gently.
"Are you awake Gem"
"Yes"I said
"Am I dreaming"
"No you are not I'm awake Fourth really"
"Huhh"
I saw tears falling from his eyes he kept stroking my cheeks and said,"I'm sorry Gem I'm so sorry it was for me right why did you came in between you are hurt...hurt because of me" sniff "You were unconscious for almost a day now I was so scared I can't lose you Gem.I don't have anyone other than you."
"If it's the matter of protecting you I'll gladly take all of them on me."I said
"Very funny"he said smiling very crying at the same time
"Are you okay Gem?From when are you awake?Should I call the doctor.Wait for a bit na I'll call him"
"Hey hey Fourth I'm perfectly fine Doctor just went back after checking me"
"Why didn't you wake me up when you were awake I'm so sorry I was sleeping when you got up"
"Doc told me that someone was awake from yesterday and slept just before an hour how would I have the heart to wake you up huh??"
"You still would have woken me up nvm I'm glad you are fine now are you hungry I'll bring some food for you"
"Yes I'm hungry and I know you are as well just order something we'll eat together"
"Okay"
He ordered the food and it was delivered after 15 minutes.We started having our food in complete silence.
He didn't speak anything about my confession yet I'm getting nervous should I confess again I thought.I waited for some time until we finished our food and then I said,"I Love you Fourth"
"Gem...."He paused and thought for a minute is he planning to reject me no please
"But I can't Love you Gemini"he said and I felt my world crash once again.
