Chapter 20

Author's POV

"I'm sorry, baby. I promise I won't let them hurt you again," Gemini promised, his tears streaming down his face.
"Gem... I'm scared Gem. Who were they? Why did they kidnap me? They won't hurt us right?" Fourth choked on his sobs while letting the warm tears fall on Gemini's clothed chest.

"They won't hurt you baby I will never let them hurt you or our baby," Gemini said hugging Fourth close to his body and rubbing his back lightly. Fourth kept crying his heart out.

Gemini's mind was full of thoughts the truth which he got to know just now was just too much for him. He can't imagine how would Fourth react to it, he didn't have the heart to disclose everything to Fourth just now.

Selene was another thorn in their beautiful life her words were creeping Gemini out. The way she looked at him he felt disgusted of those stares. He will fight the world if he has to for his husband and baby but for now, he'll just try to calm down Fourth who is scared because of what happened some hours ago.

Gemini carried Fourth to their bedroom laying him on the bed gently. He turned around to go to the bathroom but felt a tug on his hand he turned around and saw his husband looking at him with those swollen eyes.
"Don't leave me na" Fourth said in the softest voice.

Gemini sat next to Fourth and caressed his hair kissing his forehead lightly, "I'm not going anywhere baby I'll prepare a bath for us so that you can relax a bit okay" Gemini said trying to smile a little bit. Fourth nodded and left Gemini's hand. Gemini went to the bathroom and filled the bathtub with warm water he also added Fourth's favorite lavender bath bomb in it.

Gemini went back to the bedroom and carried Fourth to the bathroom he helped him take off his clothes, he also stripped himself and both of them relaxed in the warm bath for some time.
After refreshing themselves up Gemini made hot chicken soup for both of them. Gemini fed the soup to Fourth even though Fourth was not willing to have it but Gemini was persistent because he can't let Fourth go to bed empty stomach.

Soon they were in their bed cuddled up in each other's arms Fourth didn't want to let Gemini's warmth slide even for a second. Gemini kept patting Fourth's head when he heard even breathing and soft snores from the younger followed by Gemini with hundreds of thoughts running inside his head.

After 2 days

Gemini's POV -

I was sitting in my home office going through some files well not going through them as my mind was consumed with other thoughts.
Ring.....Ring...Ring...
The sound of my phone broke my never-ending train of thought I picked it up and the name which caught my eye was enough to ruin my mood again.
I picked it up and said, "Hello" in a very uninterested tone
"Hello Gemini, we called you to ask about the progress regards the property papers have you taken Fourth's signatures on them." Mrs.Nattawat asked
"No I haven't told him anything yet," I said
"Do we need to meddle in this again Gemini?" She said in a sarcastic voice
"Can you give me some more time" I tried to negotiate
"Just two more days Gemini," she said and hung up the call.

Author's POV -

Gemini sat in their cozy living room, nervously fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. He had been cloaked in anxiety for days, contemplating the heavy secret he held. How could he disclose to his husband Fourth that he was an adopted child? The weight of the revelation grew heavier with each passing moment, consuming Gemini's thoughts.

Meanwhile, Fourth noticed the strain on Gemini's face and the heaviness in his sighs. He knew his husband, the love of his life, well enough to detect when something was amiss. Wearing a compassionate smile, he moved closer to Gemini and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.
