Gaius sets up the table while I go and put on some new fresh clothes.
"Hey hey, Tomato head." I laugh as I see that Merlin has arrived and is now standing at the table. He sits down and I walk to the table.
"Want some vegetables with that?" I ask Merlin dead seriously. He laughs
"I know you are still angry."
"your mother asked me to look after you Merlin," Gaius says
"Yes."
"What did your mother say to you about your gifts, Merlin?"
"That I was special," Merlin says as he plays with his foot.
"Trust me Merlin you are." I say as I point at the vegetables.
"You sister is right you are special. To the likes, I have never seen before."
"What do you mean?" Merlin asks
"He means that Magic requires Incantations and spells that take years to study, but what you did was... Elemental, Instinctive." I say
"She is right."
"But what is the point if it can't be used?" He asks
"That I don't know." Gaius says looking at his own food.
"Did you ever practice magic?" I ask Gaius as I take an apple from the table.
"Uther banned such practices 20 years ago."
"Why?" Merlin asks curieus.
"People used magic for the wrong end at that time. It threw the natural order in chaos. Uther made it his mission to destroy everything from back then, even the dragons."
"what? all of them?" I ask
"there was one dragon he chose not to kill, Kept it as an example. He imprisoned it in a cave deep beneath the castle, where no one could set it free." Gaius says
"Now eat up. When you two finish I need you two to take a preparation to Lady Helen, she needs it for her voice." Gaius says as he looks at Merlin and me
When we finish, Merlin and I garb the bottle that Gaius prepared and take it to Lady Helen. We walk in her room bet there is no one inside. I look around a bit and notice all her mirrors are covered, I start to take the covers off and Merlin puts the bottle on her desk. He looks around a bit.
"Come on let's go." I say, Just when Lady Helen is behind me.
"What are you doing in here?" she asks
"Uhmm..." Merlin looks at Lady Helen.
"We were asked to deliver this." I say quick. I hand the bottle to Lady Hele and pull Marlin out of there.
"Did you see that?" He asks me
"You mean the boor right? Yup I saw."
