As she stepped out, her president instructed her to head to the parking lot.
"The car is waiting in the parking lot; let's go." She nodded and began walking out of her apartment when she noticed a man, no older than she was, carrying two bags and a key, facing the house beside hers.
The man caught her gaze as he inserted his key into the door of his new apartment.
"Hm? Looks like a new neighbor," she thought. Just then, the man introduced himself.
"Hello, my name is Kai Ross. Nice to meet you!" Kai smiled warmly at her.
"Nice to meet you too, Kai," Ai replied, but President Saitou interrupted with a whisper. "Ai, the rehearsal starts soon. Also, keep your identity a secret here. Otherwise, he will know about your children."
She nodded, quickly refocusing on Kai. Keeping secrets was her specialty; she was the master of lies.
"Well, I'm sorry, Kai. Unfortunately, I have to do some groceries first. See you again next time." She waved at the time patroller.
Kai waved back until she disappeared from view.
"Hmm. Her face seems familiar to me," he thought as he pondered their brief encounter.
Looking at his watch, he realized that the live event would start soon. "Better get ready first," he said to himself as he entered his apartment and began unpacking his bags.

"Woah, Japan is sure big, huh!" exclaimed Kai excitedly as he walked through the bustling streets, ignoring the weird looks from passersby.
In his hand, he held a ticket as he made his way toward the B-Komachi studio.
Before heading in, he stopped at one of the booths to buy some merchandise. As he approached the cashier to purchase his items, something caught his eye—a limited edition shirt signed by the members of the infamous idol group, B-Komachi. His heart raced when he spotted Ai Hoshino's signature on it. There was no way he was going to let this opportunity slip from his grasp.
