Chapter 4: Starlight

-After the concert ended-

"Miyako! What gave you the idea to bring Aqua and Ruby to the concert? If the public knows that Ai already has children, my agency is finished!" President Saitou yelled at his wife, frustration evident in his voice as he drove them to Ai's apartment.

"Now, now, President, everything worked out in the end, right?" Ai laughed it off, holding Ruby and Aqua by the waist as they sat in the backseat.

"That's easy for you to say. Imagine if you and your children..." he continued, blaming his wife for her impulsive decision.

Aqua and Ruby were watching the bustling streets of Tokyo from the window, both feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension. "It's been a while since I saw the outside world. Tokyo is a big place, after all," Aqua thought to himself, taking in the vibrant cityscape.

Suddenly, the car came to an abrupt stop. Everyone except Saitou looked around in confusion.

"President, why are you stopping so suddenly?" Ai asked, concern creeping into her voice.

"I don't know for sure, but it looks like the police have surrounded the road. We have to wait for a bit," Saitou replied grimly.

Ai opened her window to see what was happening outside. Her heart sank as she spotted six armed men taking hostages nearby. "I hope nothing terrible happens," she thought anxiously. Aqua and Ruby also caught sight of the scene unfolding outside.

"Hey! Close the window! It's dangerous out there!" Saitou warned urgently.

Before Ai could react, gunshots rang out, followed by screams from the crowd. The chaos quickly shifted as people stopped screaming altogether.

"What happened out there?" Miyako asked, her voice trembling with fear.

Everyone felt a wave of anxiety wash over them. Had someone been hurt? Ai instinctively hugged her children tightly. "Don’t worry. Mommy's here." She reassured them silently as Ruby buried her face in Ai's shoulder.

Aqua felt his heart race as he glanced at his mother and then at Saitou.

"You guys are so screwed. Oh, I'm going to enjoy this," a voice sneered from outside.

Their eyes darted toward the source of the voice and found someone standing defiantly in front of the robbers—a figure ready to confront danger head-on.

"What’s going to happen now?" Aqua thought anxiously, feeling a mix of fear and curiosity about what was unfolding outside.

Kai is now facing the criminals. His hair is golden blond, and he has greenish-blue eyes, staring directly at the criminals.

Suddenly, he disappeared from the naked eye and reappeared now in front of, presumably, the leader of the gang. His left hand is holding the rifle the leader has used to shoot him and he crushes it with his bare hand.

The man was shocked to see his weapon now crushed as a punch connected to his chest, knocking him unconscious.

"Hey! Now you've done it!" yelled one of the goons as two of the group attacked him. Despite their efforts, they couldn't land a single hit on him, as he dodged the bullets effortlessly.

Then, Kai strikes another guy with a roundhouse kick, sending him to a street light. He disappears again, only to reveal himself behind one of the goons, kicking him square in the jaw.

"We need to move now!" yelled the goons to their subordinate, who nodded in response.

The truck that was used by the criminal quickly accelerates, making one of their friends standing on it stumble and fall down to the road as Kai knocks him out with a neck chop.
