Chapter 13: Warrior of Hope

-Age 780, Destroyed West City-

"Erghhaa....!" Ace gasped for air after being kicked hard in the stomach by Mira. The young Saiyan, with red hair and a resemblance to adult Gohan, struggled to regain his composure. He wore an indigo Capsule Corporation jacket, gray pants, and golden boots, but right now, all he could feel was the pain radiating through his abdomen.

Things were going poorly for everyone. Trunks was also in bad shape, lying on the ground, while Future Gohan fought valiantly but was clearly reaching his limits. The atmosphere was thick with tension as Mira loomed over them, a sinister grin plastered on his face.

Mira slammed Trunks into the ground with a force that created a large crater. "Trunks!!" shouted Future Gohan, his voice filled with desperation as he rushed to his son’s side.

"Damn it! At this rate, the androids aren't the only problem now," Future Gohan thought anxiously. His body was battered and bruised, making it difficult for him to continue fighting.
Trunks opened his eyes slowly, his vision blurry as he watched Mira charge a Serious Bomb in his hand. "This is the end, Trunks," Mira taunted, his voice dripping with malice.

Trunks could only watch in horror as the energy gathered in Mira's palm grew larger and more menacing. Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, a blur shot past him, colliding with Mira and sending him crashing into a nearby building.

Ace stood up slowly, squinting to see through the dust cloud that had formed. As it settled, he saw Kai standing there, having just intervened in the fight. Relief washed over him as Kai descended toward Trunks and quickly fed him a Senzu Bean.

"Here! This should help!" Kai said urgently before tossing another bean to Future Gohan and Ace. "Mom told me about the situation. Let's turn the tables now!"

With determination burning in his eyes, Kai powered up to Super Saiyan, his aura flaring brightly around him. The energy surged through him like a tidal wave, filling him with strength and resolve. Everyone nodded in agreement as they raised their Ki to maximum levels.

"We're not done yet!" Kai shouted, feeling the adrenaline course through his veins as he prepared to face Mira head-on.

Mira slowly rose from the rubble of the building he had crashed into, shaking off debris like it was nothing. His expression shifted from surprise to annoyance as he glared at Kai. "So you’ve finally decided to join the fight? How quaint."

"You won't get away with this," Kai declared fiercely, stepping forward with confidence. "We’re going to stop you right here!"

The atmosphere crackled with tension as both sides prepared for battle once more. Ace and Future Gohan steadied themselves beside Kai and Trunks, ready to fight together against this formidable foe.

"Let’s show him what we’re made of!" Ace shouted, feeling reinvigorated by Kai’s presence..

Mira's expression darkened as he spotted Kai once again. "This time, you'll pay for what you did to me before. I'm going to kill you," he snarled, his aura swelling with power and radiating an ominous energy that sent chills through the air.

"I'll murder you!" Kai shouted defiantly, his eyes sharpening with hatred as he and the rest of the team rushed toward Mira, ready to engage.

Kai charged in with a powerful punch, but Mira swiftly caught his fist in his hand. With a cruel grin, he swung Kai around like a ragdoll, using him to knock Ace and Future Gohan off their feet before hurling him into a nearby building.
