I'm Still Alive

Sometimes it feels like everybody's watching me,

Sometimes I like the attention.

But every time eyes fall on me,

My mind just goes to sleep.

Don't know how long I'll live,

So I'm trying to brighten my days.

But no matter how hard I try,

Things keep getting in my way.

Sometimes it feels like nobody cares,

Sometimes I get envied.

All the times I felt that love,

It proceeds to fade away.

Desperate for a ray of light,

To neutralize the darkness.

But every time I try to reach,

My hands only become smaller.

Sometimes I feel like a failure,

Sometimes I prove them wrong.

I'm tired of living stuck in the cage,

But the lock's as heavy as steel.

Sometimes I wonder why I exist,

Sometimes I break down doors.

Sometimes I feel so useless,

Sometimes I save the world.

Sometimes I know that I am real,

Sometimes I feel so fake.

Sometimes I cry, sometimes I die,

But for now, I'm still alive.
