On I Tread

We chase after our wildest dreams,

But it's not always what it seems.

Tears fall down, they slowly stream,

When that darkest time shows up a gleam.

Life's not always how we like,

But here we go, we're on a hike.

With all your plans and visions at stake,

In the end you slowly break.

As the dark days drag on,

We're heading closer to the dawn.

When everyone falls into sleep,

We slowly try to make our leap.

Through the struggle and the pain,

At last victory pour down like rain.

Our random thoughts turn into goals,

But chasing them, we lose our souls.

Maybe doubts may fill my head,

Forget it all, here, on I tread.
