(Alastor x Siren! Reader)

Summary: On one of his rare visits to the living world, Alastor is intrigued by an alluring female voice that guides him closer to the seaside.

Once there, he meets you.
A beautiful and dangerous Siren.

Unfazed by your charms, Alastor strikes up a conversation with you, where the two of you chat about your kills and other hobbies, quickly becoming close.

Song: In Your Arms, by Ashley Serena.

You smiled eerily at the newly sunken ship that you caused to wreck, and did a brief count of the dead, placing a hand on your hip as you did so.

"Hm... 40. Impressive for one boat!"
You giggled, your sharp fangs glinting in the evening light that managed to reach you at this depth. "There's nothing I enjoy more in this world than causing the deaths of so many idiotic sailors!"

You then paused for a moment, as an idea came to you. "But I have been at this all day, so maybe I deserve a break. Perhaps I can even find some unsuspecting late night beach goer. Now wouldn't that be a treat!"

So, making your way up to the surface and leaving the dead for your shark friends, you began moving your powerful tail, propelling yourself up to the normally brighter waters.

You hated how light it got up there during the day, always preferring the dark of ocean trenches. But at night, it was at least bearable.

It didn't take long for you to break the ocean's surface, and once you did, you took in a deep breath, even though you didn't need to, and cringed.

"Humans... I'll never understand why they need air to breathe. Water is much better by far." You muttered, making your way to the closest rocky outcropping, and pulling yourself up onto it.

Then once you were settled, you began to sing. But not to lure anyone in though. No. While you certainly wouldn't complain if you did, it just to unwind and enjoy yourself.

The sky faded from a beautiful red and orange, to a deep ebony as stars began to come out from hiding, the moon following right after. The last remaining rays of sunlight cast shadows that grew and shrank all along the beach, light being blocked in some areas thanks to dunes, driftwood, and shells.

A lone male figure casually strolled down the length of the empty shoreline, humming to himself as he twirled a microphone staff in one of his clawed hands, the other tapping to the beat at his side.

It was a rare moment of calm for Alastor, because as much as he loved causing carnage, eradication, death, and destruction, he did sometimes need moments like this to just decompress.

Hey, being a powerful Demon Overload was exhilarating, and he lived, or died, for the fear that he instilled in others, but he also treasured the times of calm from when he was alive, sitting by the fire in his living room and reading a good book, going on walks in the park, and taking trips to the beach every so often.

That was why he had decided to visit the living world today, and try to recreate some of those memories.

He had then waited until it was nearly dark out, and until he would be the only presence on the beach for miles.
