A/N: I'm going to let you choose what type of monster you want to be in this chapter, so when you see (F/m), just imagine it standing for Favorite monster, okay? Okay.

(Alastor x Monster! Reader)

Summary: It's Halloween. The one night of the year where the veil between the living and the dead is weakest, and Demons can walk among Mortals without a disguise.

It's also not long before Alastor decides to take full advantage of that fact, and begins to prowl the dark streets. Much like he did when he was alive.

But when he comes across a group of real monsters who are having the time of their lives hunting humans, and introduces himself, you let him join in.

Will this become a new tradition, and turn into something eerily beautiful between you and the infamous Radio Demon?

"Are you sure about this, Alastor?" Charlie asked hesitantly, watching as the powerful Demon fluffed up his hair, and dusted off his signature red coat and suit to prepare for his visit to the Land of the Living.

"Of course, Princess!" Alastor waved off her concerns with a wide grin. "You know I do not care if those foolish Mortals see me or not. But since you insist that I keep a low profile, you must know that there is no better night than tonight to walk among them!"

"Right..." Charlie still looked unconvinced. "And why is that again?"

From where he sat at the bar, Husk rolled his eyes with a groan.

"It's Halloween. Every October 31st, the veil between the living and the dead is said to be the weakest." He explained dryly, taking a few gulps from his drink.

"Oh! And don't forget the detail about people dressing up as monsters and other things to get free candy!" Niffty piped up excitedly. "I always loved that part!"

"Quite right, My Dear!" Alastor chimed in with a laugh, ruffling Niffty's hair affectionately. Making the little Cyclops Demon giggle. "Though I did die right around the time it was just getting started, and I have never had much of a sweet tooth myself, I did find some of those costumes to be quite amusing."

"Huh, as fascinated as I am by humans, you would think that I'd know about that already." Charlie sighed, and shook her head. "Oh well. Just remember what I said, Alastor! Halloween or not-"

"Yes, yes, I know. Don't scare the humans." Alastor rolled his eyes. His grin shrinking, but not completely disappearing. "But I will make no such promise."

And with that, The Radio Demon opened a portal to the living world, and stepped through it. The glowing red and orange ring closing again right behind him.

"He's not going to listen to me, is he?" Charlie muttered, flopping down on the nearby couch.

"You know how he is, Hun." Vaggie sat down next to her girlfriend, and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Alastor doesn't take orders from anyone unless he feels like it."

"Yeah well, I wish he'd listen to me at least once in his afterlife." Charlie leaned into her girlfriend's arms as Vaggie only shook her head with a sigh. Knowing that the princess was always going to try to see the good in that Demon no matter what she said.

Emerging from his portal on the outskirts of a little town, Alastor smiled widely as he looked around. Taking in the eerie scene around him.
