Summary: You are a seemingly normal girl fascinated by history, and can answer practically any question about any time period.

But what nobody outside of your family knows, is that the reason you're so knowledgeable on the events of history, is because you were actually there to see them!

Being a time traveler is your most guarded secret, and one day, you decide to use your special pocket watch to go back to the 1930s, on the look out for a certain radio host.

What you don't expect however, is for the two of you to instantly click, and fall in love.

But what will happen when you need to return to your own time?

"Okay, I can do this. Going back to the 1930s is no different than all the other time trips I've gone on. I just need to blend in." You thought, eyeing your reflection in the mirror to check that your outfit was appropriate for said time.

After all, the last thing you needed was for the people of that era to find out you weren't from around there, or even that time!

"Nevermind the fact that I'm looking for a cabalistic serial killer..." You then mumbled, sighing as you dragged a hand down your face in exasperation. "What the hell is wrong with me?"

But though you asked yourself that question on a daily basis, you honestly already knew the answer.

You were fascinated by the events of history, both light, and dark, and had been to see many major happenings throughout time itself.

From seeing real life dinosaurs, to the high tech and Sci-Fi future people were always seemingly obsessed with.

But you had also seen timelines where the future of the planet and human race were dark and apocalyptic, so it was then that you would use your knowledge to make sure the events leading to that fate were changed.

But there was one rule that you had to always follow, no matter what.

Do not, under any circumstances, try to change the course of history for things that have already happened.

That was hard to refrain from doing when you had to watch innocent people die, or stand by while a disaster happened for example.

But even so, today was going to be different.

Today, you were setting off to find none other than Alastor, a well known murderer who lived in New Orleans in the 1900s.

He was considered a monster by people in his time and today, but you couldn't help but find his story interesting.

According to the news articles you'd read, he was a well liked radio host and overall charming guy in the eye of the public, but after being killed by a dog attack and gunshot to the head one day in 1933, it was later found out that he was also the killer that had been terrorizing New Orleans at the time.

So now, you wanted to know more.

Why did he do what he did? Why was he supposedly always smiling? Why did he put up that nice guy facade? And what went through his mind when he killed someone, or make him want to commit those crimes in the first place?

Okay, so maybe this was the morbid curiosity talking, but you needed to know! Dark history is just so much more fascinating than light!

So, once more confirming that your outfit was time appropriate, you took out your time travel device.
