"Oh please Potter save me the mansplaining, I know what I'm doing!" Y/N L/N had exclaimed as she and Harry Potter worked on their assigned potion together, stuck at each other's side.

"I was about to ask for the marrow roots, but no go ahead and continue to think everything revolves around you L/N!" Harry spat tartly, glaring at her as he grabbed it from the other side of the table.

She was about to remark back, but not before someone grabbed her arm and pulled her aside.

"I'm on the other side of the room and I can hear you bickering." Mabel Potter had told her friend. "Look I get you two have never seen eye to eye but it's one assignment Y/N, can't you two quit for one hour."

"I'd rather eat toxic waste then have to deal with your brother's delusional arse for more than five seconds, M." Y/N retorted flatly.

Mabel shook her head. Ever since Mabel and Y/N met back in third year, Y/N and her brother haven't gotten along once. Constantly arguing about everything, never being able to see each other's side on anything.

"Look, please just dial it down for a minute. Try not to aggravate each other for once." Mabel tried to reason.

And with a huff, Y/N responded. "Fine, but if anything happens he started it."

She then went back to her table, acting as though she was trying not to punch him.

Class seemed to fly by vastly, Y/N leaving the second she could.

She had about a fifteen minute break before she had to get to Charms so she headed towards the library in hopes of finally checking out a book she had her eye on for awhile now.

But that was quickly stopped when she was pulled aside, being dragged into an empty classroom.

Two hands found their way to the sides of her waist as the person had pushed Y/N against the door, closing it in the process.

"Are you trying to get us caught?" Y/N questioned as the door was loud when it had shut.

"Muffliato, love." The person replied, a charming tone in their voice. "And according to your letter this morning you wanted to see me."

"Yeah like later tonight, not in the middle of the day when anyone can see that I'm missing." Dropping her book bag next to her, she noticed the way he seemed to be enjoying this, so she added on. "Always have to be smug about it, don't you Potter?"

With a smirk, Harry replied, "Well of course I do, and given the way your cheeks grow red when I do, means you must like it too."

"I need to get to the library Harry." Y/N stated, biting back her smile while trying to get Harry's hands to move from her sides.

Harry ignored her comment and her failed attempts to move. "Toxic waste, huh? Don't you think that's a bit harsh?"

"It's not like you haven't said worse." Y/N snarked, not making eye contact, as Harry seemed to come closer to her. The space between them now almost nonexistent.

"Well I always make up for it, don't I?" Harry questioned, his right hand leaving her waist and going upwards to meet Y/N's jaw, bringing his lips to it, kissing gently.

"I hate you." Y/N stated, finally giving up her attempts to move and giving in as Harry planted kisses across her jawline.

"No you don't love." He hummed as he continued to work his way farther back, almost reaching her neck.

"No I don't." Y/N huffed, her smile finally breaking free.

Harry chuckling at her defeat, removing his lips from her skin, looking back at her he used the hand he already had attached to her jaw and brought her lips to his.

Y/N's hand instinctively snaked around Harry's neck, pushing him in even closer, deepening the kiss.

Feeling the need to get back at him for his arrogance earlier, Y/N let one of her hands slip higher, slightly tugging on Harry's hair.

Harry tried his best not to show any signs of anything, all he did was smirk into the kiss, now letting his hands move from the outside of Y/N's robes and now on the insides, his hands now gripping Y/N's shirt.

As his tongue flicked across her bottom lip, he let his hands move slightly down now pulling at the hem of Y/N's shirt, trying to let it come undone.

But not before Y/N stopped him.

"Nuh, uh," She whispered, breaking the kiss.

Harry was about to ask her why only to be met with a early response.

"I have Charms in-" Y/N looked at her watch, "Eight minutes and as you know Charms is-"

"On the other side of the castle." Harry answered, "Damn I hate how huge this school is."

"Don't worry, you'll see me tonight Potter." Y/N laughed, picking up her book bag. "Just make sure she isn't around when I sneak up."

"How many times do I have to tell you love, Mabel is asleep by eight thirty, she won't be around to see us." He remarked, kissing her cheek lightly.

"Fine, but just be cautious."

"I know, I know." Harry smiled, moving out of the way.

"Nine forty five?" Y/N asked, just to make sure she came at the right time.

"Nine forty five. Now go love, I don't want you to be late."

With a shake of her head, she looked out the door to see if the coast was clear and once she saw a pretty empty hallway she closed the door behind her and vastly made her way out.

Making sure to flatten her uniform as she made her way.

Did Y/N feel a bit bad about having to lie to her best friend? Yes.

Did she even worse that it was about the fact she's been seeing her brother for months now behind her back? Hell yeah.

But nonetheless, with the way things were going Mabel Potter would never have to find out.

I mean it was only between Harry and Y/N.

No one else needed to know about what happens behind closed doors.
