SEPTEMBER 1912

Church had ended and me and the Tsarina left. We took a carriage back to the palace in St Petersburg, I visited there once. People surrounded us as Soldiers had to block. Cian was blocking his crazy younger sister screaming my name. The Tsarina went first and I followed her and Anna followed after me. "HELLO!" I heard Cian's younger sister, Caoimhe, yelled at me. Cian put his sister on the floor softly and promised something to her.

When we finally reached home, The Tsar announced we would go on the Standart to visit the English Royals. For fuck sakes. I had my life. Obviously, I didn't say that out loud, they would've asked me questions and I can't deal with that today. Maria went on about soldiers and Tatiana whispered to Olga, Olga went red and pushed Tatiana away.

Cian came in with his little sister. "Privet your majesties." Cian bowed, he looked at his little sister. "Say hello, Caoimhe." He smiled.

"Privet your majesties." She muttered and curtseyed. Turns out Cian and Caoimhe (who was eight) was also coming too. Cian wore his military outfit, Caoimhe wore a navy overcoat dress with white socks and black shoes. I walked up to her and said hello. She asked for a piggyback ride and I gave it to her. She was so much like Margo.

We'd leave tomorrow and Cian and Caoimhe (who we will call Kiki for this) already packed. I packed fully too and started playing with Kiki. Soon dinner came around and the Tsarina allowed us three to eat with the rest. "Mother." Tatiana said, the Tsarina looked at her. "Yes my dearest." The Tsarina replied. "How will you go to Mass if we're on a ship?" She asked. The Tsarina just realized.

"Oh my! You are right, I shall contact Father Grigori immediately!" The Tsarina excused herself and left. Alexei looked at his father. "Can I steer the ship father?" He asked, his father ate his food. "We'll see." He admitted. I didn't eat, I wasn't hungry, my last chat with the Grand Duchesses didn't go too well. "Astrid, how are you my dear?" The Tsar asked me, I didn't say anything.

"Okay." I replied. The Tsar looked happy i said something to him but still a bit disappointed because I must've been very joyful. I needed to adjust to calling them mama and papa. It's been two days since they started sending me to Church. I went to Church anyway before coming here, it makes me feel peaceful. I knew a lot about Russian history because mothers mother was Russian. Though fathers father was Austrian.

Tatiana Nikolaevna walked up to me and I turned my attention to her. "Sassa, I asked mama to join you for tutoring today." Tatiana smiled, I nodded. I was greeted by my tutor and us three sat down. We started to learn and it went unusually fast, when we ended the lesson a lady in waiting guided me to the Tsarina, we accidentally heard her and Olga's conversation. "Mother, you have been working oh so very hard after the incident. Allow me and Tatiana to care for her, you are getting migraines."

The Tsarina fell silent and nodded. "Your highness." The lady in waiting said. The Tsarina rotated to face us as Tatiana's head turned to watch us. "Astrid, come here my child." The Tsarina said, I walked over. "Olga shall look after you for the rest of the afternoon. Anna will be there if you need anything." She stated and walked elegantly out.

"Sit down, Astrid." Olga smiled at me. I sat down. "Tell me about your time before us, please!" Olga begged. I told her about the stupid Cold War, the huge superpowers, Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, Germany being divided and the fashion, I told her about Margo and our other brother too. She looked at me. "I can't believe this is all to come!" She said.

"You don't believe me?" I asked. Her face dripped. "I want to but, what if it's a brain problem.." I looked angry at her and I had an idea. "A war will break out in 1914, started by Serbia and Austria-Hungary, if that war doesn't break out you can call me as ill as you wish, if it does, believe me." I said. Olga nodded but then looked behind her. We shook it. "I should write it in my diary, as a reminder." My face lit up like the Cold War ended finally.

"Did I have one?" Olga nodded. "Do you know where it is?" I asked. Olga thought and bit her nail. "Check your room." Is what she said and I sprinted off as fast as I could, my legs felt numb but I still ran.
