Dazai, Kunikida and Praisy sat on the coach across from the victim's parents.

"We'll let her handle the questioning since it's her test." Dazai muttered to Kunikida who nodded agreeing to what Dazai said. Dazai smiled and turned to Praisy.

"Praisy-chan, if you will..." Dazai smiled motioning towards the couple.

'I thought I asked this guy to not call me that.' Praisy sweatdropped, but thanked him anyway. "Thank you for letting me handle this."

Praisy turned towards the silently crying couple and started. "I'm sure it's not easy for you just accept what happened to you. However, we need to catch the culprit fast before another family suffers the same fate. So will you help me by answering some questions that would be useful for the search of the culprit?" She asked in the softest tune she could use.

Kunikida and Dazai looked at her impressed. So far she's doing great.

The couple nodded, wiping away their tears.

"Don't worry, I will only ask one question." Praisy said surprising Kunikida. "Did you hire a babysitter or nanny for your child?"

The wife nodded and answered. "Yes. We hired a babysitter for our child since we both are busy with works."

"I knew it." Praisy mumbled. "When was the last time you saw the babysitter?"

"Yesterday night she tucked in our baby after dinner. She informed she wouldn't be coming today and left." The husband replied.

"I need you to stay calm, okay? I suspect that the babysitter is the murderer." Praisy said in a passive voice.

"What made you come to the conclusion?" Kunikida jumped up from the couch, pointing finger at Praisy who sat still. "It could've been someone else breaking into the house-"

"Breaking into the house? At midnight when security guarding the house from outside and inside? It's highly unlikely unless it's an assassination attempt. If it indeed was an assassination, the culprit wouldn't have left any clues behind in the room, including the mark on her forehead. That would be a reckless move." Praisy replied. "That could still be a low possibility, but all the clues basically screamed that the babysitter is the murderer."

"Wh-what clues?" The wife sobbed.

"How her colouring books and toys were kept away in an unorganised way. How the babysitter didn't notice the blue crayon the girl was clutching in her hand, which broke into two pieces while struggling to break free from the babysitter. It was like the babysitter was in a real hurry to get away." Praisy said. "It all means that the babysitter was with the child just before the murder. After chocking the child to death and tucking her into the bed, the babysitter drew the symbol on her forehead with her blood. The symbol drawn is a satanic symbol so I assume she's somehow connected to any cults that practice dark arts. However, we won't know for sure about the last part until we capture her."

... wait Praisy..." Kunikida started with wide eyes now realising what Praisy meant in the car. "So that's what you meant by asking why the death was discovered only in the morning and not during night."

Praisy smirked as she stood up from the couch and stretched. "Took you long enough. These two trusted their child's safety in the babysitter's hands. Since the babysitter 'tucked in' the child putting her to sleep, there was no need to worry until it's time for breakfast."

The wife gasped. "Now that I think about it, the babysitter looked a bit pale when she came out of our daughter's room. We asked what happened but she waved it off saying she was tired."

"There you have it." Praisy turned to Kunikida and Dazai with a serious expression. "I would say this is the babysitter's first murder considering the way she reacted after the crime. Now what?"

"What else?" Kunikida clenched his hands. "We deliver justice for this family and the child's soul."

The three stood by the busy Yokohama street beside their car.

"Praisy, now what do you think we should do?"

Praisy took out the photo of the babysitter that the family gave them and held it infront of the other two.

"I say we split up and search for the culprit. It's 5PM now and the agency closes at 9PM. Let's meet up here and bring the culprit with you if you manage to catch her at 8PM. Sounds good?"

"Yeah, let's do that." Dazai nodded, grinning.

Kunikida looked at the two skeptically. "I'm 99% sure Dazai will run off to commit suicide, and you brat, do you even know how to defend yourself?"

Praisy smirked mischievously. "How else did you think I survived in the streets till yesterday? By pure luck?"

Kunikida sighed. "Just... don't get hurt."

Kunikida turned around and walked in one direction.

"Yeah I know." Praisy walked in the opposite direction.

"Good luck you two~" Dazai sang as he walked towards the third direction.

'Praisy, she's interesting for some reason...'
