Chapter 3.1

I followed Manabe and her friends as they left the room. I wasn't sure if this would work but my guts are telling me to trust it.

"Hello. Excuse me?" I called out to them.

The three of them turned around. Unexpected to see me, one was nervous, disgusted and on guard.

"Get away from us, creep." Manabe demanded.

"The whole thing that happened on the island was a lie. There's no evidence of that happening. My class just hates me for no apparent reason." I argued. "Besides, I heard you've been having some trouble."

"Trouble?"

I closed in on her. She tensed up and slowly began backing away before I stopped.

"Ah, sorry for looking so weird. I just wanted to talk so nobody could hear, alright?"

She looked sternly at me before asking, "What do you mean."

"I heard Karuizawa was pretty much pushing your friend, right? She's all bossy and what not."

"Yeah... so what about it? What does this have to do with you?"

"Well, you see." I made a frown "I dislike Karuizawa, I've always disliked her. She's bossy, arrogant and always whines to her 'boyfriend.' She's horrible, but now she's gotten to the point where she framed me for something I didn't do! She ruined my school life! Possibly even my future!" My frown dropped even more, and I furrowed my eyebrows. 

"I utterly hate her, and now she's going after other people?" I continued. "I overheard from one of my classmates that Karuizawa has been all touchy with Machida. Quite weird since she has a boyfriend, right?"

"Now that I think about it..." Manabe seemed to be a deep thought.

"Shiho-chan, what if he's lying..." Yamashita commented.

"No... let him talk a bit. Can you continue please?" 

"As I was saying," I continued on "What if she's planning on ruining Machida's life? Maybe she likes him and doesn't like the thought of you being close with him? What if she manipulates him into thinking you're the bad one here? Not only that, but she's also going after one of your friends too. From what I heard, your friend's pretty introverted right? Karuizawa thinks of her as weak."

"Oh, really now?" Manabe clutches her fist and veins popped from her temples.

"Easy now." I waved both of my hands as a signal of not tensing her up more. "Just ask her if she pushed your friend. If she denies, you got your answer."

I extended my hand to her, looking genuine.

"My reputation's not the best as of now because of her. I know you might hate me, but I don't want other people to suffer the same fate I've gone through. You all got a future, even if you haven't thought about it. My future's is essentially ruined by her but I'm not letting her ruin other people. So, if I ask, may we work together to bring her to justice?" I showed a furious yet a determined face.

"I..." She appared pretty flustered from this. Was it because I showed genuine concerned for her? "... alright, I'm in with this." She grabbed my hand and shook it. While so, I continued.

"A close friend of mine also hates Karuizawa, specifically because she ruined my life. I'm not sure what he's thinking but he said that he'll call Karuizawa down to the ship's lowest level. Here."

I took out my 2nd phone and showed her the map of the ship's lowest level.

"I'm not sure of the time though so I'll need to ask him about it. There, you, your friends and Karuizawa can talk it out. I don't know why on the lowest level of the ship but probably for privacy reasons. There's no contact signal or reception down there so she can't ask her friends to come protect her."

"I see." She inspected it up close before I took my phone away from her face.

"There's a chance you won't remember it so is it fine if I can get your contact information? I can text you the information later." I made a quick 'Oh!' before continuing on. "After this also thing settles down, I'll delete your contact info from my phone. I don't want to ruin your school life because of it." I stated. 

Manabe smiled and nodded. "Sure! Look, here you go."

After exchanging our contacts, I added on more thing.

"Oh, before I leave. I'll give my friend your contacts so he can message you more about the plan. He'll be using a third-party account though, just to be safe, alright? Is that fine?" I asked with a concerned tone.

"W-what? No no! It's fine, thank for asking."

"Alright, I hope your friend's doing well and have a nice day!" I smiled before leaving the area.

Not much to say other than some additional information.

Ayanokouji had a plan B in case Plan A would fail. This would involve Shinjiro blackmailing Manabe as he took video recording on Manabe threatening Karuizawa on the emergency stairwell. It would work as blackmailing as Ayanokouji/Shinjiro can dictate what Manabe could do, event onwards in year 1, however this would be risky as Shinjiro would appear even more worse in Manabe's eyes, as well as the information of Shinjiro blackmailing getting leaked. This would further ruin Shinjiro's reputation.
