...

ALL I see is white.

Where the hell was I?

I see no objects, no organisms or humans, utterly nothing. Not a single speck of something.

Pinching myself, I became aware that I was in a dream.

However, usually when I'm lucid dreaming, within seconds or minutes, I wake up.

However, that isn't happening. Not even that, this dream is extremely vivid. Almost like I'm alive.

"... ?"

I tried speaking but no words are coming out, almost as if it's suppressing me from making any sort of noise. I tried snapping my finger but no sound. But suddenly-

"!?!?"

My field of vision immediately changes into something radically different. Some of that as a house.

"Aka-chan! Mommy wants us!"

"Don't call me that! It's embarrassing..."

I see a small, little girl who had bright, crimson eyes and a long, brown pigtail. She ran down the stairs into the living room where I was at, presumably searching for this 'Aka-chan.'

"Aka-chan, where are you..."

"I'm here, Akahana."

Another one appeared. A small boy, with messy brown hair and the same crimson eyes as her.

"Mommy wants you and me. I don't know for what though."

"Mm. Okay then! Let's go!"

They both ran together and upstairs.

'I should get going.'

I chased after them, seeing both of them enter a room at the far right. Naturally I followed them, seeing someone quite familiar.

'Why does she look so much like my mother... actually now that I realized it...'

That boy looks a like current me, and the girl, which I assume is his sister, looks a lot like my sister.

The notable differences that I see are their personalities and how they look. The mother has crimson eyes and a small mole on her right cheek.

"Akabane, Akahana, glad you here." She smiled. Holy shit, that smile has happy radiation...

"What'cha want to talk about, Mommy?" Akahana asked as she tilted her head.

"It's... rather complicated. Do you know the place your father works at, right?"

"Ah... let me try to think. Er... that facility thingy?"

"That's right, my girl!" She head patted her.

"Tch! Spoiled girl."

"I'm not spoiled, Aka-chan! I'm just moderately correct! ... Most of the time."

"Hey. Quit fighting you too." The mother- Shinjiro's mother, frowned. Despite her frowning, she kept a calm and collected tone. "Yes, your father works at a facility as a teacher, you might say. It's the main reason why your father doesn't visit much as well as him being in Japan besides the holidays and your birthdays."

"Hmph! I want to visit Japan..." I heard Akabane mutter.

Just then, the doorbell rings, bring the family to turn around to the source.

"I'll go get it."

"No Aka-chan! Let me get it first."

"Pft! If you're fast enough!
