Day's turned to weeks and before Sabastian knew it a month had gone by and he was growing rather annoyed by how slow Ray is moving, wishing to stop at every waterfall, town, or meadow. Listening to birds she'd stop and try to name them, to save time Sabastian would name every bird he heard, every animal as they walked along trails- still she'd find ways of slowing them down. Certain ways that the sun would shine through the tree's or the dripples of water left on the trees sparkle like glitter on the leaves. Ray finds it pleasing that the two of them made a little game out of it and Sabastian enjoys the little game too though he'll never admit to it. Sabastian secretly found it amusing as he was always the first to spot it.

Stopping at a fork in the road she huffed as her eyes went over the sign she looked left then she looked right, the sign had two different towns on it. Both of which don't sound very friendly or like she'd wish not to go to them. To the left is a town named Hangman's Noose and to the right is Ogre's Cavern, but there is the option of going straight on the same path which she doesn't know will lead to the most difficult path ever carved and most men, elves, and other creatures don't make it out alive.

Sabastian begins going left so she giggled and rushed down the path to the right making the dragon elf smile to himself as he sees reverse psychology works as if she were a kid, making even Daemon chuckle at her as he enjoys seeing Sabastian figure her out slowly too. Though it isn't as amusing to Daemon when Ray doesn't frustrate him-that is always the peak of his day.

Sadly, Ray for the first several days wasn't her usual rainbows and sunshine self as they left Morte and Daemon's older sister at home. Morte decided they could make the journey if the two of them trusted the elf enough to take them to The Underground Kingdom. Yet, another thing Ray has read about in books written by elves in those stories is about a cave system that leads to caverns glistening with jewels for stars, glowing lakes and hidden forests within that eventually lead you to the ruby star castle. While men have written books about people looking for this kingdom and have only found dragons, ogres and killing elves- most don't live to tell their tales, but if they do they put it under the horror section in the library.

Wandering in the lead of the two boys she is happy as she doesn't hear much bickering from them and she hopes they're not silently having a war behind her. Looking around the heavily treed path she wrinkles her nose at how dark and eerie the forest is, the path is well lit with lanterns, but outside the circle globes is just straight blackness and it is only about noon. Stopping the boys and herself, she turns on her heels peeking up at Sabastian.

"I wish to take the other path" she says politely and he shakes his head at her as he wished to take this path needing supplies from the shops ahead for the rest of their journey,

"Please it is so dark and horrifying"

"We have watched this guy save us from killer elves, ogres, and I am unsure how many natural things you've gotten us into, I think a dark path is fine" Daemon says to her calmly and she shakes her head,

"Not fine!" she exclaims, "I wish not to go down there is there is something you need you go, Daemon and I will wait at the sign"

"Not an option besides you're going to need real shoes for the next several hundred miles" his ears go back at the thought,

"Daemon knows that I'd like you to go and I'll stay here" she smiles, Daemon's heart flashes when Sabastian tucks her hair behind her small pointed ear showing through, her hair beginning to fade to its natural color under the years of berry shampoo,

"You're a silver haired elf on top of being a striking pretty girl, you're not safe unless you're with me, understand?"

The girl swats his hand away with a shaking hand as her face flashes red seeing the only thing the two boys have in common is taunting her,
