The time where everyone that Jessie and Will has loved had been getting to settle the two fake bodies into the ground. The few people believed knew the truth about the two that are missing never shed a tear a lot people would be confused because they were the closest. They watched the caskets go into the ground, Steve was the first to drop the white rose onto Jessie's casket and he walked away quickly with a tear going down his cheek. He couldn't lie but he didn't believe she was dead for some reason. It was just a feeling that she was still there with him. Elizabeth was next and then their father, then it was supposed to be Nancy next but she wasn't there.
She was with Jonathan by a car. Steve clenched his jaw as he stared down at the two. Why was Nancy with Jonathan? Why wasn't she over here to comfort him or say goodbye to Jessie her best friend since middle school. But Steve looked away as he heard Daniella sniffling quietly by his side.
"I can't believe she's gone and Nancy is over there" Dani says, starring at the two in the distance. Steve cleared his throat. "Yeah imma go check that out" he says walking out of the crowd with Dani following not far behind.
They approached the two as Jonathan quickly hides something behind his back once he hears someone approaching. "Nance, what are you guys doing? they just do put Jessie in the ground and you weren't there" Steve says in disbelief. Nancy stood uncomfortably not knowing what to say but she might as well tell the truth. She looked at Jonathan for approval quickly he nodded.
"I believe that Jessie isn't dead. She's still out there lost and some kind of creature took her Steve" Nancy explain the best she could at a fast pace. "Yeah the guy with no face right?" Steve nearly chuckled in disbelief. Nancy nodded and continued to stare at Steve and Dani.
"Oh, your serious" he sometimes to see the look on Nancy's face. "Yes of course I'm serious, Steve. I'm look at this" She hands him the ripped picture of the Demogorgon to him. "That thing took Barb at the night of the party and I'm sure damn well it took Jessie to" she pointed it at it. Daniella looked over Steve's shoulder at the picture to aaw. Daniella cleared her throat, looking back up at Nancy. "So this thing took Jessie and Barb?" "And my brother Will" Jonathan added.
Steve stared at the picture for a few moments. Looking up at Daniella over his shoulder. "You believe them?" He asked her. Daniella looked unsure so she shrugged. "We just buried Jessie's body into the ground, I-I think-" Nancy interrupts Daniella before she could finish. "I can tell you everything, to make you believe that Jessie is alive" Nancy says quickly but quietly. Earning a deep sigh from Steve as he thought about it. Maybe Nancy was right. There can be a slight possibility that Jessie was alive yet. "Fine" he muttered out.
