She wasn't scared of death. One drink if it's a lie. Jessie Harrington was the popular perfect girl in school was now called Hawkins 'Zombie girl', everyone stared at her as she walked down the hallways to her locker and whispering to each of their friends about Jessie 'zombie girl' everyone stayed away and not crowded her like they usually do.
Everything was different, eyes were on her, staring at her feeling sorry and sympathy for her.
For the whole town knew, The Harrington tried killing herself at quarry and failed miserably.
It was the only cover story for her, to whatever happened to her. Thats what Doctor's at the lab best suggested and Chief Hopper, they couldn't know Hawkins lab was behind the scheme and everything else.
"Come on, Jessie, I'm tired of this" Steve snapped as he let Jessie fall to the ground beside the car door. He put his hands on his hips as looking down at his twin, who was too wasted to know what he was feeling.
She giggled as she looked up at him. "Bossy mom" she pointed at him, but then her eyes widen and leaned to the side to throw up near Steve's shoes.
"Let it all out dear" Dani leaned down to hold her hair up and rubbed her back.
"Jessie seriously where do you get the booze?" Steve backed away in frustration, a head on his sweaty forehead from the stress that his twin caused him the past few hours of looking for her.
Jessie stood up quickly after she was done, she wiped her mouth with her sleeve of her coat. "Stevie you-you never guess-" "What is it?" He interrupts her, his hands on his hips again, eyeing her to see if she will lose balance.
"I don't want to go home, I hate it!" she pouted towards him, swaying back and forth. Dani looked at Steve with concern.
"I know but we don't have a choice" he went to her side again and opened back door for her to get in. Dani moved and went into the passenger seat and waited.
But she stayed in her spot and stared at Steve with a nodded, he understood why she didn't want to go home because he also didn't want to hear the constantly arguing at home seemed to annoy and upset them.
"I'm tired of it to but we don't have a choice plus dad is out at work" his face softened and gestures for her to go in.
"I'll put your favourite on, in the car if you get in the car." He bribed making the girl smile quickly and sit in the car. Steve lightly chuckled at the action and buckled Jessie before he went to his seat and started the car.
"U2, is the key," he looked over at Daniella, pressing play on the radio, Drowning Man By U2 proceeded where it left off when the last time Jessie played it.
