There she was, standing elegantly before Simon. Seeming as if she was the most realistic thing in the universe. She was wearing the same red dress that she'd been wearing during that time. However, it seemed redder than it should've been. Either way, Simon was rejoicing that she was back. Charlene was alive, but somehow just more radiant than before. Divine, almost. Yes, they were still on that same boat that Simon had been on, and it was night. The stars enhanced her absolute beauty. Simon did not, in any way, want to let this moment go. Charlene was actually here, and would probably stay there, due to how Simon had positive connotations with her presence. The outside world was simply just too overwhelming for his own mind.
All was good in the moment, until he started to hear outward voices.
The hallucination had ended.
Simon panicked. He was surrounded by people, but he heard his name being called. Someone was approaching him. Was this really something he had to be dealing with right now?
He had two options: kill the person, or deal with reality.
It wasn't like he actually wanted that last option.
Simon examined who was walking towards him. Sighing, he pressed himself against the wall for balance and threw a punch towards them as his legs gave out, leaving him back in the same fantasy.
Charlene's presence was strangely comforting for him. Simon knew that if he didn't think anything of what was going on in actual reality, he didn't have to do anything related to it.
If he focused on Charlene, all would be fine.
Simon smiled as he welcomed all of his memories with her to take over his whole mind, leaving him in a state of pure euphoria.
Whatever, he could ignore how his whole body was convulsing. Simon could just disguise the electricity as the waves.
At least his dreams were pleasant.
