I walk out of the room and immediately got greeted by El.
"Mike! It has been a while since you left that room, did you miss me?" El blushes and winks at Mike.
I gave her a disgusted look, why is she talking to me like that? I'm not her fucking boyfriend. She was a manipulative bitch, talking about Will behind my back. Saying that he was a freak, a fairy, a f*g. I sit at the table, eating the breakfast that Steve made. A little burnt but it's okay. It was Will's favorite, I miss him...
Lucas snaps Mike back to reality, "Hey Mike, we are all going to the park, you don't have to if you don't want to but, wanna come with us?"
I didn't want to but... I knew I needed to get out a little more, maybe getting some fresh air wouldn't be bad, so I might as well go out a little more.
I shrug "Sure, I'll go with you, I need to get out for some fresh air."
They all smile, but El is giving me that glare. I roll my eyes and ignore it taking a sip of my orange juice.
Dustin pats my back and chuckles "Good to know, alright let's finish this!"
We all finish eating and I go to my room, changing into my yellow shirt with blue stripes, and my grey shorts. It's weird seeing me wear this again, I feel too... happy. But it will do. I walk out of the room seeing everyone waiting for me.
Lucas has Dustin in an arm lock and smiles when I walk out, "Alright let's go!"
Max pushes the two boys out of the way and cheers, "Yes! Picnic time!"
We all go to the park trying to find the best picnic spot. I don't focus on anything until I hear El.
El smirks a devious look and looks at the party, stopping her tracks, "You know, it's kinda funny that Will died, he was a freak after all. He tried to love Mike but of course, Mike loves me and still does, right Mikey?" She tries stroking my arm and I move away, she rolls her eyes. "Anyways he probably wanted to die because he didn't want to see you and me married, I bet he thought he still had a chance with you! She does a disgustingly cruel laugh, "How "sad"!"
Everyone was shocked at what El said, and I felt something burn inside me like I wanted to hurt her. How dare she talk about Will like that. I had enough.
My chest boiling, I let my fury get the best of me, "What the hell is WRONG WITH YOU?"
El looks at me shocked.
She then giggles and looks at the others, she catches her breath and looks at me, blushing, "What? It's a joke! You know that Mikey.." she winks at me and I felt uncomfortable.
I felt disgusted like I wanted to throw up. She has said enough, this was the last straw, I had to say something. How can I not?! NO ONE talks about ᴍʏ ᴡɪʟʟ."
Getting closer to her and giving a stare I yell, "NO! ITS NOT. IT'S NOT FUNNY, THAT'S JUST HORRIBLE. HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT? YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY THAT ABOUT WILL JUST BECAUSE YOUR HIS "SISTER" YOUR DAMN MOUTH NEEDS TO SHUT UP FOR ONCE."
El looks mad, good. I don't care if everyone is staring at me, I don't care if she starts crying, I don't care. NO ONE says that about Will.
El rolls her eyes and gives a horrible smile, "Jeez, why are you so sensitive about that?"
"Because... Because..."
El gets annoyed and raises her voice, "Because what?! Come on now!"
BECAUSE I LOVE HIM.
They all look at me, Steve and Eddie smile, they already know, they accept me, because I told them. Everyone knew except for El. I had to keep it from her, but not anymore. I don't care what she says, I don't.
El sniffs and she starts crying, "WHAT?! YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT YOU LIKED HIM WHEN WE WERE DATING?!"
Annoyed by her fake crying I raise my voice again, "I'VE ALWAYS LIKED HIM!! Ever since the day I met him.. since the day I first saw him!" I sniff, feeling tears build up, I blink them away because Boys. Don't. cry.
El forgets her crying and gets mad, "I HATE YOU!"
I had enough of her bullshit and I roll my eyes, "Of course you do."
I could feel my voice cracking again, and my vision went blurry, god am I crying again, Steve came up and hugged me.
