I made us some mix tapes!! I hope you like the one I made for you, I've added all your favorite songs I can't wait to listen to it with you,

As my eyes tear up I find a tape then I heard a knock on my door

Bev walks in, "Hey Rich you ok?"

Steve suddenly walks in.

He smiles a comforting smile, "Hey Mike, you ok?"

I move the card to the side, "Yea just another note from Will."

Steve frowns and sits next to me, "Awh what did it say this time?"

Steve gets cut off by the doorbell.

Nancy runs up to the door, "ILL GET IT"

I walk downstairs with Bev and Steve following me and see Jonathan standing at the door hugging Nancy.

I smile, "Johnathan..!!"

Johnathan brings his arms out and I hug him, "Hey Mike how are you doing?!"

I shrug and bite the side of my mouth, "I'm doing alright I guess, what are you doing here?"

Johnathan puts his stuff down and sits on the couch. "I just graduated college and decided I've been away for too long and wanted to come back, anyway where's Will? I wanna surprise him."

Bev quickly heads towards the door. "Imma go bye rich!!

Bev leaves the house and the room is just silent.

"Oh uhm..bye Bev! Will....he's"

Steve cuts me off before I could finish my sentence.

Steve stands next to me and puts a hand on my shoulder. "you might want to take a seat for this.."

I could feel a lump in my throat like I couldn't breathe, I sit down as I feel tears form in my eyes.

Steve looks at me, "Mike lemme tell him I don't want you to do it"

"But Steve, Will was my best friend I think I should." It was my job since I was the one that let Will die. I just stood in the basement happily waiting.

As I sit down I look up at Jonathan and he looked extremely confused.

I take a deep breath and get hit by reality again.

I started to cry again, I couldn't hold it back...

Steve sits on the table, "What Mike is trying to say is that Vecna got him...he's gone."

Johnathan frowns and gets shocked, "You have to be lying, this just can't be.."

Steve goes on his knees and hugs him, "I'm so sorry Johnathan.."

I look over and Johnathan is now crying, I felt bad. He just came back from college in another state after 3 years of this kind of news...
