Snowflake

"Hey Kyungmi, where do you live?" Jinki's voice sounded across Kyungmi's cell phone. She narrowed her eyes,"I'm not at home right now. Why?"
He didn't answer,"Where are you?"
She rolled her eyes,"I'm at a family thing. It is Christmas Eve."
He persisted,"Where are you?"
She sighed and told him the address of her aunts house. "You better not be planning something crazy."

Soon there was a ring at the door. Kyungmi quickly told her family goodbye, then headed to meet Jinki.
When she opened the door her stood in a Christmas sweater(not an ugly one). He was rocking on his heels with his hands clasped in front of him.
"Are you ready?" He looked her up and down and his lips curled up.
"I suppose." He nodded and lead her over to his own car, a silver expensive looking one.
They both got in the car and when Jinki started to drive he turned on his radio. We Wish You A Merry Christmas was playing and he was singing along.
Kyungmi soon joined in the singing, but not as loudly.

The arrived at a small restaurant. It looked like no one was there. Except one table with four guys laughing around it.
I looked up at Jinki,"What are you planning? You're not going to gang rape me are you?"
Jinki looked repulsed at the thought,"Oh God no! I want my friends to meet you. And vise versa."
Kyungmi blushed a bit. "You want your friends to meet me?"
He smiled down at her,"Yep."
They walked inside together. All eight eyes were on Kyungmi. She stepped a bit behind Jinki and smiled shyly.
Jinki reached behind and grabbed her arm. He pulled her forward with a smile. "This is Kyungmi. She's mine so keep your hands off."
She looked at Jinki shocked, he just smiled at her. He moved forward and sat next to a slim, long legged man with brown hair. He told her to sit beside him, then said,"This is the man you wrote that email for by the way. Mr. Choi is Minho."
He began the introductions, each man saying something funny or winking when he said their name.
She looked at each face, Jonghyun, Taemin, Kibum, and Minho.
She then looked at Jinki. He was laughing, and his eye smile was the most beautiful thing ever.
Then she froze, thinking,"Wait.. Does this mean we're dating? Or did he just claim me as his.."
She sighed and looked down at the menu in front of her.
Jinki looked at her from the side. Wondering if she didn't like the boys.
"So, how long have you two been dating?" Kibum was the one asking the question. Jinki and Kyungmi both looked a little awkward and nervous.
Jinki spoke first,"Um.. Actually we're not dating.. I'm her boss....." Taemin narrowed his eyes,"Isn't that like illegal or something?"
Jonghyun shoved Jinki's shoulder,"Why did you say she was yours if you're not even dating?"
Jinki rubbed the back of his neck and looked at Kyungmi. "I just.. Really like her a lot."
Kyungmi was looking into his eyes, unsure of her feelings.
Minho laughed awkwardly,"I'm hungry, let's order!"
The six ordered food, only having to wait for a short time, since no one else was there.
The five men were eating fast, shoveling the food into their mouths.
Kyungmi on the other hand was slowly eating, not wanting to look weird.

When they were finally done eating, Jonghyun said,"We should go to karaoke!" Minho, Taemin, and Kibum all agreed.
Jinki looked at Kyungmi,"Would you mind coming along a little longer?"
Kyungmi could barely look him in the eyes,"I guess that would be okay..."
Jinki looked at her, worried, a moment before standing up and they all left to their cars.
While on the ride, Jinki and Kyungmi didn't sing anymore. The music didn't help the awkwardness.

When they got to karaoke, only Taemin, Jonghyun, and Kibum were really into it. Minho was sitting down drinking soju.
Jinki and Kyungmi sat on opposite sides of the room. Minho noticed it and brought another cup. He filled it with soju and gave it to Kyungmi. "Here drink this."
Kyungmi gladly took it, making a face when she swallowed.
Minho sent a text to Jinki saying,"You have to drive so don't drink. Even though you probably wouldn't get drunk. Kyungmi should only drink to where she's tipsy, then you both get loose and have a fun time. I don't think I need to warn you not to do anything to take advantage of her."
And that's exactly what happened. Kyungmi wasn't drunk, only on the edge. All six people were standing up singing their hearts out and dancing around.

The night was coming to an end, and Jinki needed to get Kyungmi back so she wouldn't miss her Christmas.
They all walked out of the building. As they did, Kyungmi looked up and said,"Snow.. It's snowing!"
She giggled and swirled around, then slipped on some ice. Jinki's eyes widened and he jumped forward, catching her in his arms.
She smiled goofily, and it made him laugh. "You should be more careful, Kyungmi."
All the others had left, and Jinki and Kyungmi were sitting in his car watching the snow fall.
He looked over at her. Amazement was all over her face, even though she had seen snow before.
He smiled, then it went away. He looked over at her for a time before saying,"I'm sorry. About saying those things all of a sudden."
Kyungmi's head turned, her black hair swished slightly. She smiled big,"I don't mind. I've felt the same."
Jinki looked at her soft smile and wanted to cry. She was so beautiful. He wanted to kiss her, right then and there. But he couldn't. He couldn't do anything to take advantage of her. Ever.
He spoke,"Where do you live?"
