Lili's POV :
When we down they were still doing the paper work. I looked around. My old home. Well, it wasn't much of a home though. But, I still considered it one.
Kids were running around and screaming. My arm is bandaged. I used some toilet paper and tape to make it.
It wasn't much, but it worked. Its what I used when I bandage up the kids around here. They get hurt A LOT. Triping over everything. Once I had to pop a kids arm back into its socket. The orphanage couldn't aford an actual doctor.
I looked at Ms.Windfield. she motioned for me to come over. I nodded, and turned back to Tiger.
I pointed to the boys. Tiger drew in breath, but went. I watched her. She looked so brave, like the tiger she is.
I turned, and headed to Ms. Windfield. She smiled. I smiled, and waved back. She handed me two bags. One had more maple leaves.
I smiled. Tiger, and I love them. They always remind us of home. Tiger was so little, but she remembers when she's was two and would waddle in the leaves turning autum."Thank you." I said. I am excited. My day is turning around.
"You're fifteen. That means we have to have your consent for them to adopt you." She spoke quietly. I nodded.
I couldn't find myself to speak. I adjusted the bag in my hand while Ms. smiled.
The other bag has new clothes for Tiger, and I. We have always been her favorites. Even compared to Jessica.
I smiled. "I'm going to miss you." She said, tearing up. She laughed. Her, now white, hair bounced. She is old, but she is great friend.
Mrs. Windfield had brown eyes, and wrinkly pale old skin. She was great with wisdom and was very kind with kids.
"One more thing." Her voice got quiet. "Here is a phone. I want you to keep me updated." I smiled quickly.
Mh hands shook as I took it. My new phone was a white IPhone 3. It had a case too. Thank god. I drop everything.
The phone ment a lot. I understand why Mrs. Windfield would want me to let her know what was going on. Tigers growing up. In a couple years she won't look the same.
By the time I got over to them, they were done. No one asked about my arm. Or the scars. They knew why I have that bandage. But not the scars. Even though I'll probably end up telling them today about the scars.
"We live a hour away." Niall said, once we were in the car. Our stuff was in the trunk. Except for our maple leaves, and my new phone. I can't lose them.
"So, Tiger Lili. " Harry says slowly. Oh no, God no. I tried swiping my hands across my neck to tell him to stop, but he just kept saying her full name. *prepare for blow everyone!*
Tiger huffed." I'm not Tiger Lili! I'M TIGER! She's Lili!" She screamed, pointing to me. I sighed. She looked out the window. Obviously frustrated. Sometimes I don't get why she makes a big deal out of it.
Everyone except for Niall stared at me. Niall was driving. The rest of the car ride was silent. And I didn't like it. Awkward.
I'm an awkward person.
When we got there Tiger grabbed both of our stuffs, while I only had my leafs and phone. "I'm a strong tiger." She posed, and growled.
I love how she acts six when she's ten. My little sister will forever be my baby.... Maybe in a forty years old's body.
Oh.
I laughed. As we walked up to the house, Tiger and I were in aw. This place is huge. Every single room was bigger than four of our rooms at the orphanage combined.
Harry showed us around, and all that seemed to stick was the fact that they had a pool. And who's room was who's. I think. Probably not.
Eventually we got to our room. It had two beds. The walls were a light purple shade, with pink hearts here and there. It even had a bathroom!
Would I get extra shower time? Maybe I'll be able to sleep with more than half a pillow! Oh, this is so wonderful.
I claimed the bed closer to the window. It had pink heart pillows with a striped pink comforter. Tiger picked the orange one.
I looked outside. It had a beautiful view. Even if you could only see the plains, and the road. At the orphanage our window looked at a brick wall. It was very creepy.
I turned. I need to tell them why they can't call her Tiger Lili. So she won't flip out again. I almost forgot. But random things pop in my head sometimes.
I patted Tiger's back. I didn't say anything but left the room. It terrified me to talk to them. But they had heard me before so how hard can it be?
I remembered something that I didn't mention before. I started crying. But with no sound. Tears silently trailed down my cheeks. Making a splash on my feet.
I started shaking. I have always shook. But my hands were fast and very noticeable. Its like I couldn't control it.
I started wobbling as I walked, wanting to get to the boys. But I couldn't.
I feel to my knees remembering when i got to see my dad in jail. In hurt so bad. He looked at me with complete disgust. I understand, I would do the same thing.I feel arms around me. I knew it was Niall. I put my face in Niall's shirt a couldn't stop crying. I felt like such a disappointment. I've been here, what? Thirty minutes?
"I'm sorry." Niall said, trying to pull me closer. I pushed him away.
Why did I try? Why didn't I beg them not to take me? Why did I stand up at the orphanage?
Niall's POV:
I got sad. Lili had been through so much we don't know. She is even already crying to us.
"It is a good thing this is their new home." Zayn said. I couldn't help but but agree more. I hope I can make this amazing for them.
