Literally on my knees....

   I stood silently beside Aiden as he conversed with business associates. It was indeed a lovely evening,the moon provided a natural disco ball along with the small sparkly lights.
A sweet melody drifted through the busy atmosphere,the pianist really knows how to work the keys.

For a while I wondered what my use here was.
Dalton didn't even attend....

I stood idle for a long while fidgeting with my dress until my eyes landed on something I had long missed so I excused myself.
I sauttered towards the table of drinks and picked up a glass of rosé,a small sip and I felt much better.

Dwelling in my small bliss, a young looking man approached me probably to spark up a conversation but his words were lost to my ears.
His height was on the average side,a gap tooth that showed each time he said a word,there was nothing really special about him though he smelt of cheap cigarettes and strong perfume which made me move away.

Putting my drink to my lips unintentionally glancing at Aiden. Although the people he talked with laughed for no reason,he seemed indifferent...detached.
There was something about him that seemed rather poetic,his brown hair glistering in the light,so did his eyes with long lashes the fluttered each time he blinked,never had I seen a man with such beautiful precise features.
At the very moment his unexpecting eyes met mine causing me to look away immediately, focusing on the glass in my hand. He'd caught me staring.

Oh God...

A hand circled around my waist,I glared at the grinning motherfucker with a scowl. His nose flaring in a pervertive manner.

Pig.

"Hey princess" the fucker cooed

I hated being called that.

"Get your hands off me" I warned

He obviously took me for a joke judging by how he held on even tighter....my skin crawled.

"Yunno... I'm really rich" he grinned

"Your point?" My response obviously wasn't pleasing but who cares.

"I'll pay you as much as you want to keep my company tonight" he moved even closer "I promise I'll take care of you"

Fucking perverted pig

"Firstly ew and no,secondly..." Peeling off his hand; shifting swiftly I dropped into a squat, swirling my left leg....I drove a heel powerfully against the back of his leg causing him to fall over.

My three days of krav maga was worth it.

Just then the music came to a pause as all eyes were on me including a pair of blue.

The son of a bitch scurried to his feet and launched at me in a fit of rage "you little bit–" a fist to his jaw knocked him down clean.

"Lawsen..?!" The pig shrieked after seeing a frightening Aiden staring down at him.

"Drag this pig away" he signaled for security.

"You–you can't do this!! I'm an associate" he oinked

"Well then as from now you aren't an associate anymore" Aiden said calmly walking towards me "Gentlemen, thank you for coming but I'm afraid the party has come to an end"

He grabbed me gently by my wrist leading me away. We walked for a while until we'd reached the pool side.

"I'm....sorry" he said after some minutes of silence. He still looked distant although he was right beside me.

"Why are you apologizing?"

"I should have left you alone when you told me to" rubbing the back of his head like he was nervous " It's my –"

"It's fine Aiden,I don't blame you"
My expression twisted immediately as I felt a pang of pain run through my feet,these heels were killing me.

He'd noticed "sit down" he pointed at the bench and I obeyed.

He knelt in front of me and took of my heels gently revealing my swollen feet which were throabing at the moment.

His arms wrapped around my back and behind my legs lifting me up bridal style and I was in complete shock.

He placed me down by the pool in a way that my feet was in the water as he took off his shoes and joined me.

"Feels good doesn't it,Ly?" His husky voice filling my ears.

Ly?

I blushed mentally....if that was possible.

"T–hanks" I stuttered while looking at him.

"Why do you look unhappy?" I blurted out,this question came as a shock to him and me.

He chuckled softly "well that's something I never expected" I just stared blankly at him "Do you have fears?"

Where did that question pop out from?
"Everyone does" I answered splashing my feet in the water.

"I guess you're right" he stared into space.
"What's yours?" He seemed surprised that I asked

His deep blue eyes turning to me with intensity "me"

Well that's a first.
I didn't want to ask anything else before it gets.... uncomfortable for him.

"Do you wanna go for a swim" he lifted a questioning brow which I ignored. Standing up I pulled off my dress and his eyes widened which was an amusing sight.

Yes I was in underwear but it's matching and it's basically the same as being in a bikini.

I jumped into the water with a splash which got Aiden soaked.
He just stared at me in amusement and shock.

"C'mon!!" I laughed,the water tickled my skin and I felt so...good

My mouth dropped as I laid eyes on my boss who took off his shirt to reveal a well sculpted body.

Definitely a Greek god

I thought he'd take off his pants but I was disappointed when he didn't.
Without warning he jumped in with me causing the water to splash on me,
But I still had my eyes on him with a pout on my face.

"What? Did you want to see me in my underwear that bad?" He teased.

"Hey!! I'm not a pervert"

But for you I am

His expression had lightened up and we splashed around in the pool.
I could tell his eyes were on me and I suddenly felt hot.
"The sky is really pretty" I cleared my throat

"I can't really tell, you're more pretty" he said in a low tone.

Was he being serious? I couldn't tell....

I also couldn't tell if it was me or the alcohol kicking in.
I inches closer towards him and placed a kiss on his lip. My mouth left his as soon as they touched,his hands cupped my face brushing back stranded hair as he stare at me from my eyes back to my lips.
He kissed me with so much intensity that I felt my heart flutter.

What were we doing?!!

His lips were so soft... almost pillowy against mine,I could feel the soft tickle of his breath beneath my nose,his fingers running through my hair as we breathed each other in.
