Heer's P.O.V.

I turned around, taken aback, "Excuse me?"

She stood up and came closer, "I used to feel bad thinking I came in between you and Kamran. That even though I love him and wish he and I were together, I ruined what you two had. I used to sympathize with you, thinking that you were unhappy and stuck in your marriage with Salaar. But now I just feel bad for Kamran. He's the one who's suffering in all of this. I hate that he won't move on from you and give me a chance, especially now that I know you never even really loved Kamran. You're so heartless, Heer. You don't even care about how much he's hurting. You just like attention. I saw how you and Salaar were in the kitchen, but I know you don't really like him either. How could you be so affectionate with him or even claim to like him when you were so-called 'in love' with Kamran a few months ago?"

My eyes watered, and it made me annoyed at myself. I didn't want to be affected by her words, but they were hurting me.

"I wish Kamran would just see how much of a fake you are. He doesn't deserve to be stuck on someone who doesn't even give a d*mn about him," tears began racing down her cheeks, "He's so broken inside. He's not the same man he used to be. We messed up, but all he wants is another chance. Every time I try to reach out, he ignores me or apologizes, saying that I should move on and that he's sorry, that he made a mistake, that he only loves you. But now you're just toying with Salaar," she pointed at me accusingly, "He's been in love with you and when you saw Kamran and I together, you went back and married him to get back at Kamran. He's nothing but your rebound."

My lips trembled. I was incredibly sensitive when it came to accusations regarding mine and Salaar's relationship. "I love Salaar. He's not my re-"

She laughed bitterly, wiping at her tears futilely, "You said the same about Kamran. You know what? You don't deserve either of them. Kamran really dodged a bullet, only if he would see that. Poor Salaar is going to suffer the consequences soon. You're nothing but an attention-seeker. You're a wh-"

"Hina!" an angry voice spoke out from behind me.

I bit my shaking lower lip while my tears kept flowing.

Umair Bhai stepped in front of me, his back towards me. "What is wrong with you?!"

Her eyes widened, "Bhai..."

He shook his head threateningly, his words slow, "It better not be what I'm thinking, Hina." He moved closer, towering over her, "If you came in between Heer and K-" His hands balled into fists when she lowered her gaze. He stepped aside and looked at me, "Heer, did she...?"

I kept silent, and he took that as my response. His figure grew as he inhaled deeply with anger.

"Apologize to Heer for what you were saying, Hina," he ordered dangerously.

Her eyes lifted to mine with scorn.

"Apologize, Hina," he repeated slowly in a sharp tone.

"I'm sorry."

"I'm dropping you home. We will talk about everything later," he gripped her arm and led her out.

Salaar's P.O.V.

"Is Heer alright? She's been gone awhile," Api asked, sat across from me on a sofa with her hands on her bump.

Just as I looked in the direction of the hallway, I found Umair Bhai dragging Hina towards the staircase as she plead to him quietly.

What happened?

"I'll go check."

I quickly made my way to the guest room and found Heer standing near the doorway, facing the other way.
