Kai held onto Amelia, their face pressed into her chest early that morning. They were not a morning person when Amelia was around.

Without Amelia they would have been up hours ago, but with her they couldn't seem to get up. They wanted to be next to her and act like they were the only people in the world.

Amelia ran her hand through their hair. Usually she was the one cuddling into them underneath the blankets, but she couldn't complain when it was the other way around.

"How long do we have?" Kai asked.

"We have another half hour before I have to get ready to leave." Amelia said. Kai picked up their head to look up at her.

"I'm going to miss you." They said.

"I'm sure you'll miss the sleeping in more than me." Amelia teased.

"Well I sleep in because you're here so its a fair tie."
