"You made me feel again."

What felt like hours was only a few minutes when I felt him pull back a bit since I was feeling much better now, but I was disappointed when his warmth moved away from me, leaving me cold once again.
What's wrong with me?
"Are you okay?" He asked softly, his hands on my waist, rubbing small circles in a soothing manner.
I nodded, wiping at my eyes with my back of my hand and smiled a bit, our bodies still pressed together as I looked up into his stormy eyes.
"Who knew you could be such a good hugger." I said when his lips quirked upward slightly.
"You know now." He said and I nodded, just when I heard my name being called.
My eyes widened and I moved away from the professor as quick as lightning as Logan came into view and wrapped his arms around me.
My eyes met the professor's as Logan hugged me and I noticed his clenched jaw, his fisted hands beside him as he looked at us.
I wrapped my arms around Logan immediately, desperately craving the warmth from moments ago but it was nowhere in sight.
His hug was nice, yes, and made me feel safe. But it wasn't like his. As if nothing could ever hurt me or get to me, as if nothing was wrong with me, so warm and fuzzy, I craved more of it.
But I knew I wouldn't get that warmth anytime soon.
"The bed was empty when I woke up. And unmade." Logan stated with a playful glare my way when I remembered how I'd left my room in the morning.
I was sure the professor heard him when his striking grey eyes snapped to mine.
"Yeah, sorry, I was running late." I apologized with a sheepish smile when he pecked my forehead and smiled reassuringly.
"It's okay. Zara was looking for you, by the way. Something about going out tonight?" He asked when I nodded, my eyes briefly flitting to the professor whose face was cold and emotionless once again.
"Thank you." I said to him when his eyes snapped to me, surprise evident on his face.
He masked it just as quick with his usual emotionless face, a muscle ticking in his jaw when he nodded stiffly just as Logan turned to him.
"Morning, professor." Logan greeted with an arm around my waist which seemed to get all the attention from the man in front of us.
He looked up between us and nodded, gathering his things and putting on his blazer.
His muscles flexing did nothing to ease me as my eyes followed each and every one of his movements when I suddenly looked away before I got caught, mentally slapping myself.
