"When the silence came, we were shaking blind and hazy, how the hell did we lose sight of us again?

"We're not hiding, or running away," I spoke firmly, "This ends now, once and for all."

"Perhaps you don't understand how powerful these people are, Sebastian, because they've been after us for more than twelve fucking years. They got our parents, and they nearly got me. This is other than the fact that they've already laid their filthy hands on my sister and I will not let that happen again." Conrad spoke furiously, emotion lacing his tone.

"And how is hiding going to help?" Sawyer asked as Conrad leaned forward and flicked his gaze to his sleeping sister who laid in my arms after I had calmed her down after much difficulty.

"How the fuck are we supposed to do that?" He asked incredulously when I gestured to Sawyer who dialled a number on his phone before putting it to his ear, he smirked when a deep voice filtered through the other end.

"Jake, it's time to cash in a favour. How's Ace?"

"He wants to meet us. Tomorrow." Sawyer told us after hanging up, his eyes switching between mine and Conrad's in a tense silence.

"Who?" Logan asked, looking between the two of us suspiciously while his sister sat next to him, anxiously tapping her foot.

"Our cousin, Jake, and his good friend Ace. They're in the—"
