"And that's the last of it." Zara blew out a puff of air and placed her hands on her hips to inspect her work.
"That's all?" I asked, looking over at all the luggage packed in the jeep's trunk when she nodded and Logan closed it with a thud.
"Yup." She replied, popping the 'p' as Adeline came out with a small bag.
"This is some luch, for the way." She smiled warmly at Zara who hugged her.
"Thanks Ad, means a lot." Zara said smiling before coming to me and embracing me in a tight hug.
"I'm going to miss you so fucking much." She mumbled into my shoulder when I nodded wordlessly, the emotion clogging up my throat.
Thantophobia, I thought, the fear of losing someone you love.
Even though that was a tad bit dramatic, I had no idea what I was supposed to do when they were gone.
She pulled away after a good minute, wiping a tear and laughing a bit at our state.
"Look at us, we're a mess." She said between tears when I laughed myself, my tears finally falling as she hugged me again, tighter this time before pulling away.
"Take care, yeah? And tell me when you get a hot boyfriend." She winked, causing me to laugh as she lightened the mood.
As if.
"Will do." I mock saluted her as Logan took her place, wrapping his arms around me, his six foot frame towering over me as we swayed in each other's arms.
"I'll miss you." I said with a sniffle when he kissed the top of my head.
"Of course you will, I'm hard to not miss." He said cheekily when I rolled my eyes playfully, shoving at his chest a bit as we both chuckled.
"Love you." He made a heart with his hands to me and I smiled, blowing both siblings an air kiss.
"Love you too, Lo." I said and waved at them just as Conrad came out, shaking hands with both of them before they got in their car.
"You better call and give me all the juicy deets about the sugar plum princess!" She yelled, half hanging out the window when I laughed out loud and gave her a thumbs up.
"Will do!" I yelled back as they drove away.
Only then did I notice said sugar plum princess looking at me through his shades, leaning against his gleaming black car with his arms folded across his chest and I was immediately reminded of a few nights ago when he ate me out.
My face instantly heated up and I patted it a few times to cool myself off as his lips curved into a knowing smirk which I ignored, like I had been ignoring him for the past week after that night.
Where the hell did he come from?
"Who the hell is the sugar plum princess?" Conrad asked, leaning towards me when I shrugged indifferently while Addy looked at me suspiciously.
