Kent nodded.

"Okay, I'll get started." Said Kent.

"Thanks, Kent." Replied Arthur.
Kent waved to Arthur as began to run north.

"Tell the other residents to begin to get ready. In a few days, we go to war on The Marauders." Said Arthur.

"Yes sir." Said the resident.

Kent had been running north. He was on the search for people that could help them. As he continued to run, he came across forests he's never seen before. He was now entering uncharted territory. He didn't know what to expect anymore.

"Here we go." Muttered Kent.

Around fifteen minutes had passed, and all he's seen was forests, abandoned campsites, grassy hills, and open plains.

But, as he was currently crossing open plains, he saw some animals in the distance. They appeared to be a group of Elk.

He watched them graze from a distance. And he wondered: "How the hell did these get here?"

But, the sight of animals made him somewhat happy. Knowing that it wasn't just small animals living alongside humans and Remnants is definitely a relieving thing. As he continued his journey, he passed the Elk. They spotted him, but didn't get spooked. But instead stared at him.

"Huh. That's definitely a first." Said Kent.

As he walked further and further away from the group of Elk, he spotted a worn down cabin in the distance. He doubted that anyone was still living within it, but it was worth a look. So, he decided to head in its direction. As he got closer, he could hear rustling inside, and along with a slight groan.

So, he slowly drew his pistol from his waist. And pushed open the door. Inside was a Remnant, who was impaled by a wooden stake. It was pinned to the wall. And on the other side of the room, whimpering and low growls could be heard. So Kent looked over in the direction of the sound. And what he saw, was definitely something bizarre.

"A... Dog?" Asked Kent.

There was a Golden Retriever in the corner, growling at the Remnant.

"Hey boy." Said Kent.

The Dog got excited when he saw Kent. And almost immediately scurried over to Kent and hid behind him.

"Woah. You okay?" Asked Kent.

The Dog barked at the Remnant. Kent interpreted that it was afraid of the Remnant. So, he aimed his pistol at the Remnant and fired. The shot somewhat spooked the Dog, but it was no longer afraid.

Kent put his pistol in the holster on his waist, then crouched down to pat the Dog on it's head.

"You're safe now." Said Kent as he affectionately patted the Dog on the head.

"Hey, do you want to come with me?" Asked Kent.

The Dog barked in response. Kent guessed that the Dog said yes.

"Alright boy. Come on, we have a mission." Said Kent.

Kent stood up and walked out of the cabin, he held the door open for the Dog.

"You're going to need a name..." Said Kent.

"Caine maybe?" Suggested Kent.

The Dog seemed to ignore him when he said "Caine".

"Okay, maybe Apollo? Wait, no. Having a Dog with the same name as one I've had in the past is confusing." Said Kent.

"Oh, maybe Levi?" Asked Kent.
