Once again, Kent woke up in his tent the next morning. Kathleen wasn't in her cot at the moment, and surprisingly Levi wasn't at his side. So, he slowly got up from his cot and walked out of his tent. To his surprise, there was more people gathered within The Reserve than there were yesterday.
"Arthur and Kyle must've done a good job." Muttered Kent.
Kent then saw Kyle come out of his tent. Kyle was wearing a different outfit, instead of his casual tattered hoodie and track pants, he wore a military uniform, and a pistol holster on his chest.
Kyle also saw Kent, so he walked over to him to say hello.
"Hey Kent." Said Kyle.
"Morning. You seem to have found a new outfit." Replied Kent.
"Yeah, as a matter of fact Arthur and I struck gold. We found an abandoned military base, guns, armor, ammunition, equipment." Said Kyle.
"No way. That's great." Said Kent.
"Arthur wanted to save something for you. Follow me, I'll show you what awaits." Said Kyle.
Kyle guided Kent into one of the barrack tents, he opened a closet and inside was something that Kent had always wanted to use.
"A ghillie suit. Just for you." Said Kyle.
"Wow. I've always wanted to use one of these." Said Kent.
"Thanks." Said Kent.
"Yeah, no problem." Replied Kyle.
"We also found three groups. One with ten people, another with seven, and another with twelve." Said Kyle.
"That's why there's way more people than before, huh?" Asked Kent.
"Mhm." Nodded Kyle.
"So, do you think we have enough people to attack The Marauders?" Asked Kent.
"Arthur says so." Replied Kyle.
"Okay. Hey, where is he anyways?" Asked Kent.
"Oh, he's with Kathleen. They're scouting the area around The Marauders compound." Said Kyle.
"Scouting for what?" Asked Kent.
"Openings and areas that we can easily get in their compound from." Replied Kyle.
"Got it." Replied Kent.
Kent grabbed the ghillie suit from the closet, and rolled it up.
"Do you know where Levi went?" Asked Kent.
"I'm pretty sure he went with Kathleen and Arthur." Replied Kyle.
"Alright. Thanks." Said Kent.
"No worries." Replied Kyle.
Kent walked out of the barracks, and went back to his tent. He laid the ghillie suit on his cot, and then headed into the main building to grab some food.
When he walked inside, the building was crowded. So he slipped in between people within the crowd.
Once he reached the table with food laid out on it, he reached for a can of spaghetti. But before he could grab it, someone snatched it.
Kent looked over at the woman who took it. She had the smirk of someone trying to be an asshole for no reason.
"Y'know. That was mine." Said Kent.
"Yeah. I know." Said the woman.
"So hand it over." Said Kent.
"I don't think so." Replied the woman.
