"Oh uh, hello Wally. Anything we can do for you?" Wally reached into his pocket, before revealing a slightly crumbled paper. "Alright, who took this photo of me?" Wally opened the paper up, to reveal the photo of them and their previously black dyed hair. "Uhhhhhhh- OH LOOK! There's Howdy leaving Y/n's!" Julie exclaimed, as she pointed to Howdy.
Wally's face darkened, as they dropped the paper to the ground and made their way towards Howdy. "Julie, really?" Eddie said as he raised an eyebrow at her. "Look, I had to do what I had to do. Now, shut up and let's see what happens." Eddie sighed, as the two focused their attention on the scene that began to take place in front of them.
"Oh- hey Wally! How's it going-" "What were you doing at Y/n's?" Howdy's smiled faded as he noticed Wally's dark expression. "I gave them some groceries- is everything ok?" "Everything is just peachy." (Peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches-)
Howdy felt nervous sweat trickle down his neck, as he backed away from Wally slightly. "Did I do something wrong that I'm not aware of?" Wally began to laugh, as his hand went to his forehead. "It's nothing really, I'm just overthinking. It's just, when I saw you leave Y/n's house alone, I wasn't sure what to think..."
"OHHH- I see~" Wally gave Howdy a questioning look, as a smirk made its way onto Howdy's face. "You're worried I might have been hitting on them." Wally's eyes widened and a light blush formed on his face. "W-what?" Howdy began to chuckle at Wally. "You don't have to worry about me hitting on them. I know they're special to you and I would never do that to you."
Wally's face reddened even more, as he stuck his hands in his pocket. "Um, what makes you think that?" Howdy raised an eyebrow. "You're extremely protective of them, don't think we all can't see it." Wally chuckled awkwardly, as his focus went to his shoes. "Yeah... I suppose I do tend to do that."
Howdy sighed, before giving Wally a pat on the shoulder and turning towards his home. "I'll talk to you later, neighbor!" Wally snapped out of the sudden trance he was in and waved goodbye to Howdy. He glanced back at where Julie and Eddie were and saw them looking at him and whispering back and forth to each other and snickering.
"What are you two looking at?" Julie and Eddie laughed, before scurrying away. Wally sighed and made their way over to Y/n's door and knocked happily. A groan was heard from the other side and a muffled "come in" was sounded. Wally quickly adjusted their scarf and dusted off his pants, before opening the door and entering. "Hello, darling!"
