Leonard left Marianne's room once his crying had stopped. Despite this, his eyes seemed swollen and red. He thought that a little more than thirty minutes had passed since he entered the room, and although he was somewhat lost, he knew it would be an hour or two before dawn. He walked in silence, trying not to wake anyone. Something stopped him from entering his room, even though he was already in front of the door. He decided to go back.

Marianne sat pensively. She couldn't even get ready for sleep. She felt that everything that happened these days was entirely out of her possibilities. Despite this, she was still there, upright and composed.

She rubbed his lips with her fingers. "I want him to come back. I can't lie to myself. This is not enough for me..." she thought. Remembering the warmth she felt holding him in her lap made her heart race.

She looked at the door, paradoxically, wondering if he would return in a fit. Instantly, she heard the door click softly. She opened the door and saw him with the same expression as when he had resisted his father taking him from his house. She instinctively stretched out her arms to bring their bodies together. He did so immediately as he closed the door softly.

The two found themselves in a long kiss while still holding each other. She caressed his face, as well as a shoulder. He gently ran down her back. Marianne, stepping back, walked over to the bed until she sat down on it. She looked at the man she loved for a moment, her eyes wide and bright. That stare with her huge, beautiful brown eyes embarrassed Leonard a bit.

Leonard knelt in front of her and continued kissing her. He ran his hands over her neck and shoulders. It went through her collarbones. He couldn't believe this woman could be so delicate and refined. He kissed her soft neck slowly. She felt a strange tingling in her body, which made her close her eyes and let out a slight shriek. She didn't understand what was wrong with her. She was somewhat afraid, but the sensations she was experiencing told her that she should continue.

Leonard took Marianne in his arms and carefully laid her down on her bed, lying on her back. He perched on her while supporting her arms on the bed. His look was not that of a beast like when he kissed her the other night, but now it was overflowing with tenderness. That calmed her down.

She raised one of her arms to caress Leonard's face while he kissed her again. He carefully removed the clasp that secured the blue cloak that covered the girl's shoulders. There he could continue caressing and feeling his beloved's smooth and soft silky skin.

She shyly stroked Leonard's torso again. She felt enormous shame, and caressing him made her feel like she was on fire and her heart would burst, but she couldn't stop. "I never expected to feel like this... Nor to do this. But I don't want to regret it," she said, covering her face in shame. Leonard caressed her gently with one of his hands, showing her that he understood her reactions. Suddenly, the boy wavered a little.

"Can I... take off your dress?" Leonard asked, with his voice shaking.

"Yes..." Marianne replied, now wholly covering her face in embarrassment. "But... could you turn off the lights?"

"Don't worry... I'll do it like that," replied the young man as he extinguished the candles and lamps arranged in the room.

The truth is that he had some difficulty in removing the dress, especially without light. She took Leonard's hand in a strange initiative and guided him to do it. She understood that, in the end, the boy was inexperienced in loving, even though he had lived through those harrowing experiences before. She didn't notice that she caressed the boy's hand every time she could, while she felt a slight chill every time he touched her skin too much.
