"Ulises?" Leonard repeated, repeating his real name.
"That's right... I haven't said your name in ages."
"How come I lived a thousand years inside the book?" Leonard asked, more disturbed than ever.
"The book allowed you to continue preserving your physical form as when Seiros saved you. Unfortunately, your soul would fall asleep. That until about 18 years ago..." Constantine replied. "I understand that Rhea or Seiros, whatever you want to call her, had long wanted Sothis's heart to express her consciousness again so that she could return to our world, but no physical vessel worked. That is until a boy received his heart, which saved his life."
"That was the professor..." Marianne said.
"I don't know who you're talking about," Leonard's father replied, maintaining a respectful tone toward the girl.
"Last year, an unknown mercenary came to Garreg Mach Monastery...Lady Rhea appointed him as a professor," Marianne replied, doing her best to shake off her fear and speak. "During that year he was at the Academy, several amazing events happened... One of them was that he could control the Sword of Creator."
"He is the vessel," Constantine replied, watching Marianne. "How old would he be?"
"About 21 years, I think... Many things were a mystery with him," Marianne didn't remember that information well, but she remembered that Hilda had found out.
"It fitted the time interval when my consciousness awoke," Leonard entered the conversation.
"That's right," his father replied. It fits," he turned to Marianne. What about that professor?
"He disappeared about two months ago, after the Imperial attack on Garreg Mach," she replied, head down. "Hence we don't know about him."
"I see," Constantine added worriedly. "I understand the interest of those who slither in the darkness now. They surely wanted to summon The Sword of Creator."
"But you told me that sword couldn't be recreated," Leonard replied, even more surprised.
"I told you that, but it's false." Constantine looked thoughtfully at his son.
"So..."
"You can use it, but the risk of depleting your energy could consume your soul or the Grimoire. Although I don't care about the book, I would never want you to risk yourself like that," his father replied.
"Okay... I see that at least you care about something for me."
Marianne gently took Leonard's hand as she kept quiet. The woman couldn't tell him anything right now. She didn't know if it was time. She looked at Constantine shyly. He looked at her with concern. It seemed like she wanted to talk.
"I think you want to say something."
"No... I want to comfort... your son."
"You are a good woman," the man approached Marianne and placed his massive hand on her head, caressing her. "I hope they can stay together. I will do what I can to make it so."
Leonard was surprised by his father's gesture. He didn't understand how everything was so dichotomous in him. Indeed, living a thousand years waiting for his son to live could have been more complicated than he could imagine.
"I have a question," Leonard asked, trying to think of something else. "How could you include the Heroes' Relics if they were created after the codex?"
"It's simple," Constantine answered calmly, "Periander, convinced by Thales, Epimenides, and Solon, added the blood of the Nabataeans to the book, making it possible for the relics of the heroes to be recorded. For good, I think, they only had enough of Sothis's blood to deposit in the grimoire, making it difficult to register the Sword of Creator in it. Also, the Sword requires the Crest Stone of Sothis to express its full potential, so the book lacks enough energy to use it," Leonard's father continued, his face changing to a worried expression."
