Leonard froze. He didn't understand what his old man was talking about. "A thousand years? I am a thousand years old?" he said to himself over and over again. Marianne watched him, also frozen in surprise. It was unclear to him how someone could live so long and still be a child.

"I understand that you can't even answer this, and it probably sounds like a lie to you," Constantine continued. I will plunge you into a trance so that you can see the history of the same codex. I will unlock part of his memories so you can know your origin."

"Well..." was all Leonard could reply, taking Marianne's hand tightly.

An instant later, the couple found themselves in a barren field. There were no signs of life; they were in a place of destruction without equality. It seemed as if the earth had died. The remains of soldiers from different sides abounded, as well as animals and remains of trees almost uprooted from the ground. Suddenly they heard a voice in their minds. It was Constantine speaking to them within the trance.

"We are in the exact moment after some of the great battles that happened when the war of the heroes happened. This one, in particular, has not been documented in any source. It was erased from history. It wasn't a battle but a real slaughter. Everything happened due to the ambition of some to keep the Grimoire of Memories."

Leonard and Marianne walked across the withered landscape. They kept moving for a long time without finding any traces of life. Suddenly, Marianne could see two individuals in the distance: it was a child with his mother. The mother lay on the ground, face up, with her disfigured body. It almost looked like something had melted her. On it was a little boy, no more than three or four years old. He appeared to be still alive, though he was displaying difficulty breathing, both from the choking air and the resulting damage to his body.

"That's you, Leonard. Next to you lies your mother, Calliope, and my name is Prometheus, anyway. She saved your life by acting as a shield after the impact of the weapons of Light,» they both heard while they saw a man pass by their side with a feeling of despair. Leonard could tell that it was his father.

"The three of us were part of the Agartha people. Perhaps you have read in books, but our civilization, originally from these lands, initially lived with the children of Sothis after it descended from the heavens. After some time, both races fell into disagreements and most terrible confrontations. Finally, our people renounced everything that could come from the Goddess, including their Nabatean and human descent."

"The clashes went on for a long time and repeatedly. Sothis was forced to repair Fódlan many times until she finally decided to purge the land and eliminate us. After that, she repaired the land using her remaining strength, forcing her to rest in a long sleep.»

"At the point where we are, the relics of the heroes and the Sword of Creator had already been created from the remains of Sothis and other Nabateans slain on Zanado. At this time, Nemesis or King of Liberation r as they have called him, had been defeated by Seiros and the founder of the Adrestian Empire, Wilhelm Paul Hresvelg."

Continuing with the scene, Constantine was kneeling before his dying family. Calliope was eventually long dead, but the child was still alive but dying. His father wept uncontrollably, wondering why he had engaged in such a violent and futile fight.

Suddenly, Constantine felt a significant impact near him. He looked around his surroundings and saw how a dragon had landed near them. It was Seiros herself. She seemed exhausted but angry. He was in her Immaculate One form. She took her human form and approached the family.

Seiros would direct all his rage at Constantine, but she saw that woman and what seemed to be his son on the ground, barely coughing in his agony. Evidently, the deceased woman had covered him with a withering attack, although she was not sure what it was. She saw that man with an expression of pity.
