When Bruce woke up, it was six in the morning. He sat up and saw Clark beside him. He stared down at this man. He knew that Clark was someone really, really close to him. He wanted to give him all of the hugs in the world. He never wanted to leave his side. Bruce felt butterflies every time Clark did something nice.

He loved Clark! Really really much!

"Clark," he called.

"Hm?" Clark mumbled.

"I have to go potty."

Clark's eyes opened, remembering the day before. He sat up and said, "Let's go."

Bruce got off the bed, then he looked at Clark for him to come with him.

"I'm coming," Clark said. In a split second, he was beside Bruce.

They took a trip to the bathroom for Bruce to release himself.

As they left, Clark said, "You did a good job telling me you had to go."

Bruce nodded proud.

Clark asked, "Are you still sleepy?"

Bruce shook his head no. "Let's watch cartoons!" He ran ahead to the living room.

With a amused sigh, Clark followed him. He sat on the couch while Bruce sat on the floor.

The normally stoic man, who was now youthful, handed the remote to Clark. He was eager, but he knew his limitations.

Clark turned on the television and went to a channel with cartoons. He was tired, so he leaned back on the couch to relax. He was up most of the night, making sure Bruce was alright. It took a bit of a toll on him.

The remorse and sorrow was great. Every once in a while, Bruce's breaths and heartbeat would quicken as if he was having a nightmare.

Bruce was also a kicker.

Clark had to move him, so Bruce wouldn't hurt himself on Clark's hard exterior.

They stayed quiet and watched cartoons for a while. Clark fell asleep, while Bruce nodded off a few times. Bruce laid down on the floor to watch television while also tired.

Next time Clark woke up, he found that Bruce had slid himself into his arms.

Bruce's head laid under Clark's arms while his knees were on the floor. He was asleep just like that. He could fall asleep anywhere.

The television was still on, but this time Damian was in front of it with Jon, Clark's son. They were playing video games. It was nice seeing the two spend time, even after Jon was older than Damian due to Clark's father's undoing.

Jon heard Clark wake up, so he peeked at him, and said, "Good morning." He glued his eyes back on the television. He wasn't bitter about his parents splitting up, but it didn't mean he wasn't upset with his father.

"Good morning," Clark replied.

Damian and Jon spoke quietly to each other.

Clark didn't eavesdrop to respect his son's privacy. The last thing he needed was to be nosy.

"Clark?" Bruce mumbled. He pulled himself from Clark's arms and shifted his weight to his knees. He wiped his eyes. After blinking his eyes a few times, he smiled.

"Good morning," Clark said.

Bruce replied, "Morning."

"Hey, Father," Damian called.

Bruce turned around seeing the two. He gasped, "Hi. Can I play? We didn't get to play yesterday. I wanna play."

"Um," Damian said hesitantly.
