Bruce was weary of any strangers. He knew his sons, his son's friends, and Clark, but he didn't like the mystery of who it could be. So when a psychologist came to the manor, Bruce was reluctant to go into the same room as her.

Bruce looked around the corner at the stranger.

Clark and Alfred were talking to the stranger lady!

Who was she? Why was she here? Was she there to hurt him too?

Clark saw Bruce and said, "Come here and meet the doctor."

Bruce backed up back behind the wall.

With a sigh, Clark came over to Bruce. "Come on. She is very nice."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes," Clark reassured.

Bruce huffed a quiet breath. Then he said quietly, "Okay." He held his hand out for Clark to hold.

Clark grabbed his hand. He led him to the doctor and Alfred.

She said, "Hi, I am here to help you out." She introduced herself. "How are you doing today?"

Bruce stared at her suspiciously. It was almost scary on a six foot tall man.

She said, "How about we sit down?" She sat down on a dining room chair that was brought in. She pointed at the far side of the couch.

Clark said, "Go ahead."

Bruce asked, "Can you stay?"

Clark nodded. He sat down on the floor on the far side of the couch while Bruce sat beside him on the couch.

Every few seconds, Bruce would look down at Clark. He was nervous. He saw Clark as someone who could protect him from whatever that could happen.

"So," the doctor started. "How old are you?" She had an air about her like she was talking to a child.

Bruce took a breath in to answer, but he stopped. He was confused. What should he say?

"Give me the answer that feels true to you."

Bruce said, "Three."

"Very good," she praised.

Bruce smiled at the reply.

"Do you know why you are three?"

Bruce answered, "Because I am little."

She said, "You are quite too big to be little, don't you think?"

"No," Bruce answered confidently. "My mind is little, so I am little."

The doctor asked, "What makes your mind little?"

"Um," he hummed. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "I don't understand... Yeah, I don't understand."

"Hm," she said, trying understand him. "You don't want to understand what?"

Bruce put his arms out and said, "Everything."

Clark said, "Everything?"

Bruce nodded.

The doctor asked, "Why don't you want to understand everything?"

"It's scary."

"What is 'it'?"

Bruce answered, "I don't know... But it's really scary."

"Can you search for anything particular that's scary," she asked. "Even the littlest of details can help."

"Hmmm," Bruce hummed. He answered, "My family."

The doctor asked, "You are scared of your family?"

"No," Bruce clarified. "I don't want them hurt. I want them okay."
