Chapter 1.
A woman was screaming in anguish while laying down on the mattress and gripping both sheets with whitened knuckles.
"Please take away the pain; I don't think I can take it any longer," she begged.
The woman is in her late thirties, with ivory skin color and brown hazel eyes. Her hair is a fiery red curling.
The doctor in front of her promises her not to worry and that she will do everything she can to offer her the proper birthing technique.
"Ms. Cale, I understand this is a difficult circumstance for you, and it's been nearly 15 hours of labor. I know you're exhausted, but please know that everything will be fine after the baby is out. "
The woman with red hair simply nodded and followed the doctor's instructions.
"When I say "push!" Gather your strength and try not to scream this time; it will only make things worse. I know you're strong, and soon you'll see your little angel; isn't that exciting?"
"Push Cale!! " Cale pushed and used her remaining energy. Her sweat was running down her reddish face.
Then there was a little cry. Finally, Cale notices the doctor who was assisting her in giving birth.
"Congratulations! It's a beautiful baby girl!" she exclaimed, holding the child with the umbilical cord still linked to her, showing that she had produced a new life. A new stranger to get to know.
The nurse accompanying the doctor used tools to cut the umbilical cord that connected the mother and the infant. She didn't know what to express at first. Will she be relieved that this stranger has finally been out of her womb? or should she needs to start thinking of placing her for adoption to some parents that longed for a child to take care of?
The father of the child is a no-brainer. They've been together for a few years, and she recently discovered that he uses drugs without her knowledge and has a lot of debt to pay as a result of his addiction. And when she found out she was pregnant with his child, she had second thoughts about informing him because she knew it will be pointless.
After thinking about it for a few weeks, she finally told him, and he was stunned. Accused her of cheating and fucking different males behind his back.
How can this be the same guy she used to love? The man she met was a very different person with a completely different demeanor and a lot of wonderful energy. But when she discovered his true character, she was shocked and despised herself for being so foolish.
The man beat her when she was pregnant and spat in her face, ordering her to get lost and that he will not accept responsibility for the demon child she is carrying.
She had a plan of action from that time forward. The plan is to live her life and have an abortion.
