Chapter 5.
Her cheeks flushed as she met the guy's gaze. The guy had dark wavy hair that was mostly covering his blue eye and was now staring at her blankly.
"What exactly are you looking at?" She immediately said, her voice shaken.
"Should I be the one to question you? I caught you listening to other people's conversations." He continued to stare at her, with a smirk on his face.
His voice simply shattered her illusions and made her realize that this man is speaking to her. Fortunately talking to her and making remarks about her eavesdropping. "What makes you believe your discussion will be interesting? Should I also point out that you are in a library? Making interactions that might distract others from reading is actually prohibited here. " She felt her ears flare up, and she didn't like the idea that this guy was attempting to scowl at her even though he should be questioned concerning the noise he was causing inside the library.
The guy became silent as he glanced down at the floor. "I apologize; I didn't expect a phone call either, and please pardon me. " He was gone in an instant.
She smelled the scent he was wearing and it reminded her of when her mother used to take her to the countryside and they would sit on a park bench while enjoying a picnic. It's strange how it gives her a sense of deja vu.=========================================================
