Despite it being daytime, Abrariel found it hard to go to sleep, he was too scared. Anxiety made his chest feel tight, putting unwanted pressure on his heart. He didn't want to wake up the next night to find out he was pregnant, but there was nothing he could do to stop it. He rolled over onto his front and curled into a fetal position under the covers and closed his eyes. Slowly sleep came, and he thankfully fell into the darkness, glad to be rid of the worry.

Raziel
Raziel sat on his bed looking at a framed photo he held in his hands, one he kept well hidden from anyone who came into the house, his sons included. The photo was of himself and his late girlfriend, Mina. They were posing for some maternity photos; he was seven months pregnant.
It had been a great day, marking that there wasn't much longer to go till they could meet their little one. If only he had known that the next day everything would turn to Hell, when the blood of two lives were on his hands: His girlfriend's and their unborn child.
Tears splattered the glass of the frame as he tried to push the blood-covered memory away. He would do what he could to ensure that Abrariel had a safe pregnancy... But the pregnancy would be in danger if he didn't make sure the Telantes and Abrariel got along.
Even though Telantes was only ten, Raziel knew he was as dangerous as any Demon. Demons held grudges and were always plotting to make their enemy's life Hell. Those said enemies tended to be Vampires, and some other Mythicals, ones that crossed their path.
Abrariel and Telantes had definitely got off on the wrong foot, but while Abrariel had changed, Telantes had built a wall of hate that Abrariel could not look away from. Raziel saw this whenever the two Mythicals were in the same room, one would be hissing at or provoking the other. Raziel had to stop them and make them see sense. Abrariel and his child's life were on the line and Raziel had to save them before it was too late.

Abrariel
Abrariel woke with a jump, the sun was only just starting to set, he knew it must just be above the clouds, too early for him to wake. Something had woken him, but he didn't know what. He sat up and felt it. And odd queasiness he hadn't felt before that seemed to squirm and squeeze around his stomach. He looked down at his middle, suddenly fearful and panicked.
No, no, it's not happening, it's not happening!
Abrariel jumped out of bed and rushed for his door, swinging it open, he had to find Raziel. He rushed to the living room in steps that would have caused a normal person to stumble and fall, but he had the gracefulness that was gifted to all Vampires.
Raziel was not in the living room.
Getting more panicked, Abrariel rushed to the kitchen.
Raziel was there, by the stove, making dinner for himself and Telantes, the salty smell of cheese filling the air. Abrariel had never seen him cook before, but Raziel's cooking was the last of Abrariel's worries. He rushed to Raziel and tugged urgently at his sleeve as Raziel turned the stove off.
"What's wrong, Abrariel?" Raziel asked, his normal happy and bright face going dark with concern and seriousness when he saw Abrariel's anguished look.
"A doctor, I need to see a doctor!" Abrariel exclaimed, looking up at him with wide, panicked eyes.
"Hey, hey, easy. Why, what's wrong?" Raziel asked, gently putting his brown hands on Abrariel's shoulders as he looked over Abrariel's face, his green eyes full of concern.
"I... I... I—Father I'm scared!" Abrariel cried latching onto Raziel tightly.
"Why? Do you think you're—"
