Rosie's POV

"The game is quite simple. I play a tune while you sing something you could think of." Holysh*t, not to brag but I have the shittiest voice in the block and even Denisse could confirm it the moment we went to a karaoke once.

She made sure we never come back to that karaoke bar to save my face.

I genuinely don't know how to make my ever so mind work with my shitty voice.

"You look tensed, are you okay?" She suddenly asked. "No? No!.. ehe of coarse not."

When she started strumming on her guitar and slightly nodding her head into the beat, I had to think of something.

"Anything, right?" She nodded her head as she keep the phase steady. I looked around the room for any inspiration I could think of but instead, I thought of shoes. Dante's combat boots might actually be a great topic.

"Uh shoes.... Shoes, we can walk with shoes,
You can't step on my toes, Kick away the hoes, I love my shoes~"

"Just step on gum and booger, didn't taste like sugar, I love my shoes~"

For some reason she started wheezing while playing on her guitar as she urged me to go on.

"Ooooh~ You can't stop me from walking, skipping and sprinting away from someone's .. dingaling ~"

"What the f*ck is 'dingaling'?" She giggled as she shook her head in amusement.

"If you think my toe is cute, just put your mouth on a mute, I love my shoes~"

I cleared my throat for the upcoming rap that has been in my mind just moments ago.

"Yeah uhuh, I love my shoes. Hey! Momma, Poppa loves it too.

"Even Peppa pig and Pooh is jealous of you.
If it stank then spray something in there too.
If yo momma's not yo poppa, if you poppa's not you momma, then I dunno 'bout what Imma do... With yo shoes.."

"Got no time for foot selfie just for some weirdo's money. I love my shoooooees~~"

After my little impromptu lyric making, I think I successfully made the atmosphere less sullen and earn points since she bursted out laughing straight away as she clutched unto her stomach.

"What the f*ck did I just hear?" She said as she was gasping for air to recover from her uncontrolled laugh.

"Was my voice that bad?" I looked at her in disbelief. I swear, I could not help it but it was worth the shot.

"No... It's not the voice.." she said in between her giggles.

"It was the lyrics." she wiped the tears away from her eyes as she rested her back on the backrest.

"You put me on the spot, what did you expect?"

"I don't know. I was expecting a little heartfelt?" I sighed to her reply as I watched her tilted her head.

"I was lying, I don't know how to make lyrics." I awkwardly brushed my arm, feeling embarrassed about getting caught lying.

I think it's much more embarrassing getting caught on pretending you know what you're doing compared to pretending you don't know what you're doing.

"Yeah I could tell. But ten out of ten, would listen to it again." My mouth hang open to her response. There's no way I made her laugh this hard.

"I don't think I remember 90% of the lyrics." The nervousness started kicking in again. I've got nothing to show her other than the desperation of winning points for her.
