Roseanne's POV
I wasn't very sure how I dozed off on her back but the next morning, I saw myself looking around the bedroom and spotted a huge painting I painted for Dante. I groaned when my head pounded as if it's been cracked open with a rock.
The primary thing I did was look under the cover to check if my clothes are still intact and to my surprise, it was changed into a comfy shirt over a pair of pajama pants.
"Good morning, sweetheart." My eyes widened when Gladys came in with a tray of food for me. "Breakfast is ready." She smiled in welcome. I am so confused.
"G-Good morning. Uhm... How did I get here?" I asked, obviously confused.
"Oh! Miss Dante figured you changed your address so she had to take you home to rest." My mouth parted open. Oh right... She doesn't know my current address.
"Oh.." I've had a lot of questions. Surely, it's the best time to ask but I don't know where to start. "I-I must've passed out on Dante's back on the ride home." I muttered on my breath.
"Oh dear, the ride must've been dreadful for you..." My brows furrowed in confusion. "You vomited on Dante's back and all over your clothes. I hope you don't mind me changing you." I felt like I have lost certain features of my face . Eyes, popped out of their sockets; Jaw, dropped to the floor.
Oh no.... I puked on her fucking back on the way home?! This is most probably the lowest blow I have ever done. I don't even remember half of what happened last night and finding out what happened from someone else could not be a better scenario. Her fans would definitely kill me when they find out about this!
"I-I'm so sorry." I immediately apologized. Gladys let out a full-hearted laugh. "Dante didn't seem to mind, love. She wiped you clean before showering and heard no complains. She must've liked you a lot."
I quickly shook my head, "N-No... You're probably mistaken. There's just no way." I nervously laughed as I shyly touched my nape. She can't possibly tell Dante likes someone just because she wiped me clean without any malice, infact.
Does that mean, she's saw my body again? What kind of question is that, of coarse she did!
I quickly covered my face to hide my blushing face which caused Gladys to laugh. I can't believe Gladys is here to feed on my delusions again.
"Uhm.. I hope you don't mind me asking.. Where is she?" I asked, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible, but Gladys' grin only got wider when I start asking about her.
"She's just outside, dipping in the pool for a morning swim. She'll be up when she's done but if you like, you can see her there. Morning air is quite refreshing, I'm sure she'd be happy to see you awake. Just tell me where you wanna eat so I can settle your food." She smiled. I gulped down the thumping feeling deep in my chest. I don't wanna be perceived as a perverted woman and I might not have the courage to see her this morning without gawking and feeling ashamed.
"Do you have a cigar?" I randomly asked. I think I just need to calm this heart down for a moment. I have no guts to face her after vomiting on her last night.
"It's quite rare to see Dante smoking nowadays love so I might have a hard time finding one for you. But I'll see what I can do and ask my husband for a spare one." She said before placing the tray on my bed and walking out of the room. I sighed in relief and muttered a small 'thank you'.
"In the meantime, please eat your breakfast. I'm sure hangover must be killing you." I nodded my head and proceeded to eat.
As I was about to open my camera to see my face with make up expectingly completely smudged and all over the place, I saw a nicely cleaned and fresh looking face despite the shitty feeling.
