Mid-flight, Other Chosen had grown too tired to continue. BlueScreen had to grow and carry him carefully in her jaw.

They returned, finally. _nala was awake, another mug in hand. Seeing the two, he put his drink down.

"Chosen..?"

He dragged his cursor over to him. BlueScreen gently set him down onto it, shrinking back down and leaping onto his chest, softly purring. _nala set them both onto the ground and nudged him gently. He groaned and turned on his side.

Quickly, _nala drew a pillow and blanket and threw them over to BlueScreen. She forced the pillow under his head and dragged the blanket over top of him.

"BlueScreen." He threw her a pen. "Tell me what happened."

She quickly got to work, terribly doodling and writing the details. The basic summary was that the Resistance had extra members, all the mega viruses died, and Emerald had betrayed them and nearly killed Other Chosen.

"That stupid dragon.." Aggravated, he yanked out Emerald's USB, waiting a second for it to fully deactivate, then threw it back with the others. Taking out all the others (except BlueScreen's,) he threw the dead viruses away.

"The hell am I gonna do.." He muttered to himself, laying back in his chair and pinching the bridge of his nose, trying to think.

A meow drew his attention back to the screen.

"What is it?"

The cat drew a '5' then promptly crossed it out, then wrote a '2' next to it, circling it with red.

"..you want me to do it.. early?"

She meowed again. _nala wanted to refute and refuse, but then he took a look at Other Chosen, out cold on the ground. He fought so hard for his sake. It was about time he got the life _nala talked so dearly about, always anticipating it, but never actually getting it. They'd always been so close, yet too far.

He clenched his fists at the thought.

He would prove that he was worth something.
He would flatten the injustice in this upside-down world.
He would get that power that he needed, at the cost of absolutely everything.

After all, who was he without his title, and the sheer power it held?

"..you're right. I can't wait any more."

He updated the countdown, and once he finished, he set to work.
