I would like to give a heads up on this chapter...

It's SUPER long! Like, over double the length my typical chapters are! Honestly, when I type everything up in a Google Doc, it's like 20-25 pages long before I copy it here in Wattpad... This one is 58!! SO BE WARNED!

There is mention of some crude and vulgar verbiage... Nothing explicitly detailed, but it does have some choice words that are meant for a mature audience. I don't want to change the rating on it, but one of the characters throws around some insults and jabs that aren't pleasant... Plus some swear words... SO BE WARNED!

I feel like this one took forever because I've been so busy with school lately... Softball has been nuts, these state tests that are coming up have been living rent free in my brain, and there's just been so much homework lately I'm gonna burst... SO BE WARNED! ;D

On that note, I really hope you like this story! It's been an idea I've had for a while, and thanks to Sadiesia's suggestion on part of it, I was able to intertwine my original idea with hers and VOILA! My uber-epic-super long story that is kinda like 2-3 stories in one that actually kind of has two very fitting titles :)

"Wait wait wait wait... You mean to tell me you're working on a way to create an invisible car?!"

"I-I mean it's not quite in the production phase yet... strictly developmental... Well, I guess you would say experimental... We're still working out the bugs, heh heh... N-not literally! Of course! There aren't any actual bugs, but just... Um... it's that-"

Teresa laughed and interrupted the brunette man next to her as he scrambled to answer Ken's question pertaining to his career details.

"What Lazlo here is trying to say is that yes, he's definitely working on a way to make an invisible car"

Lazlo cleared his throat and sat up straighter, blushing as the beautiful woman to his left touched his shoulder tenderly, calming him down immediately.

"U-uh, right... Yes... Yes I am...", then he smiled wider, even a bit more confidently at her wink, "It's really remarkable, actually! We're changing the algorithm of the chemical conversions that typically permeate the glossy enamel exterior, permitting a new transparent potential rather than the usual opaque, giving it a-"

"Um... Lazlo?"

"Oh... Too much?"

"Too much..."

Laughter erupted among the group at the man's exuberant explanation as he lost himself in his work, and he couldn't help but blush with embarrassment; especially when his new date took and held his hand.

The Malibu Crew was finally together again, celebrating many many years of friendship and togetherness. And two weeks before Christmas couldn't have been a better time.

Ken, Barbie, and Skipper came home for the holidays. After Barbie's graduation from the University of Hawai'i, she was finally free from school, ready to start her new life with whatever she so desired, whether it be as a music educator or a full-time journalist. But, as she lay in employment and futuristic limbo, so to speak, the trio chose to jump at the opportunity to come back home for the holidays, wanting to spend as much time with family and friends as possible.

Right now, they were enjoying a night out at Carbona's, a fun and trendy Latin restaurant fave in downtown Santa Monica with all their friends, including the ones from New York who had also returned to visit their own families... plus a couple others.

Teresa had just introduced the group to her new date, Lazlo Barany... The term 'boyfriend' wasn't yet attached to his status, but after two months of 'talking', it was looking more and more likely that it was going to elevate to 'serious mode'. Lazlo was an inventor at a local Los Angeles engineering firm, in which he claimed he was working on 'top secret' inventions and creations. However, he was way too giddy to keep the invisible car development under wraps...
