"What are you doing?"
You turn around to see Nico, Kaden and another girl, Taci.
"Nothing," you said as you hid the hat behind your back.
"Come on," Nico said. "Time for our cue."
"Yep,time to show these losers a real performance," Kaden said with a cocky smirk. Taci agreed with him as they stood ready for the cue.
"Right," you said softly.
You put the hat down on a nearby table and joined them to wait for the cue.
*Stage*
"Now, next up we have a newcomer to the show," Buster said.
"That's right Buster," Porsha said. "Joining us for the first time is the princess of the Planet of Passion herself! So please give a big, warm, loud welcome for..."
"The Planet of Passion," Porasha and Buster announced together.
The lights dimmed as the audience applauded. The sounds of tapping and placing could be heard. You assumed position and took a deep breath as the music started. Johnny broke free from his fellow dancers and watched you from backstage.
