ch 12 surprise for a wolf

It's now been a few months since last chapter and Lilly found a college that she wants to go to but has to move so Daniel and Tails helped her study so she could graduate from school and go off on her own path and now its just the wolf and the fox and tomorrow is 3/17/23 which means one thing Daniel's birthday and Tails has a plan for him and he'll never see it coming
Daniel's pov
After me and Tails helped Lilly get settled in to her new place and had a early b-day dinner as a family then me and Tails went home and watched a couple movies before bed and I couldn't sleep and Tails noticed

Tails:hey you ok

Daniel:yeah,just umm I don't know ugh tails um do you think we can do something together like go to the movies or

Tails:hey calm down we can do whatever you want plus it's you and me Daniel (gets on top of him)I love you no matter what and I always will

Daniel:love you too fur ball

We kissed and snuggled up for the night
The next morning
Sniff Sniff
Daniel:(something smells good)

Now that I'm fully awake I opened my eyes and saw Tails staring at me,I laughed and shook my head

Tails: what's so funny wolf pup

Daniel:you are fur ball

He got on top of me

Tails:that comment gets you kissed

We stayed in bed for the next hour cuddling each other and then Tails asked me to go to the movies with him and when the movie ended he asked if I wanted to get ice-cream but before we even got there I stopped us at the park bench and sat down

Tails:hey what's wrong

I shook my head

Tails:come on you can tell me

Daniel:why

Tails: why what

Daniel:why do everything that we did today, why are we doing all this(sighs)I'm sorry I shouldn't be questioning you

Tails started to laugh a little

Tails: you forgot what today was didn't you

I tilted my head being a little confused

Tails: it's your birthday and then this weekend we'll be our anniversary so I'm trying to get us to have fun,but I guess I'm rushing things without telling you huh

Daniel:Tails it's fine how about we get that ice-cream then go to the amusement park

Tails:oh then we take a flight in the tornado

I nodded and when we landed the plane that night I almost fell out and Tails caught me and helped get into the house since I tripped trying to get down from the plane,as we were laughing getting in the house for no reason once inside we sat on the couch

Tails:I still don't comprehend what the humor is about

Daniel:I don't know,I was just laughing because I almost fell after you helped me down when I tripped and then you started to laugh with me

Tails:as I said before we are meant to be

Daniel:yes we are and I couldn't of got any luckier in life because no matter what we would of found each other

We kissed and I surprised Tails by getting up and carrying him to the bedroom and within a couple of hours we fell asleep and I'm happy to have Tails as my husband to make me happy and I'm glad I make him happy and nothing will separate us
