Changes

"Yuri and I got divorced last month."
Jungkook almost spit out the water he was drinking as he heard Seokjin speak while Yoongi stepped out to make a phone call.

" Hyung!!  What..??? god!! "
"Yes, baby. We were separated for about 6 months, and the papers came in last month. Yuna is staying with her and continuing her studies; we share her custody. She will come stay with me on holidays and vacations. "
Jungkook took a moment to process everything he heard. "I'm so sorry, Hyung."
Jin nodded, smiling slightly.
"It's okay, Kookie; it was inevitable. That's why I came back; there is nothing left for me in Japan except for my daughter. But she understood when I said I wanted to move. I have a lot of money saved up, and her dad was kind enough to recognise the hard work I put into developing his company; he bought my shares himself. I'm planning to restart my career as an artist, baby. Hyung hadn't touched the canvas in a while."

He nodded. "I had no idea. Wow!" That was the last thing he expected to hear from Seokjin; he always thought of him and Yuri as a very happy couple. And even when his mother talked about her suspicions, he never thought they would have ended their marriage.

He looked at Jin; he wanted to know more. "If you are comfortable answering, may I know what happened?Noona and you were together for so long."
Jin looked down, gripping the hem of his shirt. "Yeah! We were, but it took me a long time to realise that I was fooling myself and her. My heart always belonged elsewhere. Whatever I did was just me escaping my own reality."
Jungkook didn't understand what Seokjin said: "Is it about you taking up her family business?" "I knew she was against you becoming an artist, but I thought she knew from college that you were an art major."

Jin looked up at Jungkook and held his hand, smiling.
"Leave it, baby. It's all in the past. Trust me, Hyung is happy now. It's all for the best."
Jungkook nodded, even though he was confused a bit,He didn't want to press him anymore.

"Yuna is what 10 is now, right?" Jungkook asked after a while.
"Ohh !! I forgot that you haven't seen her since she was a baby. She is almost 10."
Jin took his phone out of his pocket, clicked away, and gave it to Jungkook.
"Wohhh...god !! I can't believe she is a big girl now. I remember her being tiny in the hospital. She looks a lot like you, Hyung," Jungkook said with big eyes, looking at the photo of Yuna.
"Dosent she?! Ah, she is very mature.
baby..and very talented too..she paints well."
Jungkook smiled happily, seeing Jin's eye shine while talking about his daughter.

After a while of chatting about random things, Jungkook began looking in the direction of the door, wondering what Yoongi had been doing outside for so long. He was about to go check on him when he felt Seokjin touching his hair he started growing out.

"You grew out your pretty hair. Hyung likes it." He ran his fingers through them and said
Jungkook looked at him and laughed nervously as he felt Jin's fingers on his neck.
" yeah!! Yoongi Hyung suggested it. He once had a dream in which I had long hair. It's a funny story actually.."
"And tattoos." He cut him off and touched his arms. "How many of those?"
Jungkook touched his tattoos. "Ahh, these and this whole arm sleeve. I forgot that you hated tattoos. You were always against it when I said I wanted one."
"It's beautiful."
"You still hate it?"
Seokjin sighed "How can I hate something that's on your body, baby?" He caressed his cheeks softly, looking into his eyes.

Jungkook gulped, staring at Seokjin. There was something totally different about the man in front of him. He couldn't understand why, but every interaction with him was unlike anything they had ever had before. Seokjin slowly guided his fingers towards the younger man's lips. Jungkook's breath hitched for a moment when he felt his fingers touch the lip ring he had on.

" Kookah"
He jerked back, suddenly hearing his name.
Seokjin retracted his hands and sat straight on the couch.
" Babe!!"  Jungkook nervously laughed seeing Yoongi standing there, gripping the phone in his hand tightly.
Jungkook huffed, "What took you so long ?!"
He knew that Yoongi was stunned to find them in that position.
"Ahh, Jimin called. We have to leave," he reminded
" yes!!! Yes." Jungkook coughed and got up.
He went near Yoongi and put an arm around him.

"Jin Hyung, you remember Jimin?""
Jin raised his eyebrows. "Yes, I do. Your friend from school!!"
" yeah!! He is getting married soon; we are helping him with some wedding stuff today."
"Oh, that's good news. How is he, by the way? What does he do now?"
"He runs a dance studio. His fiancée Namjoon is a music producer. You might know him as RM."
"Ohh yeah!! I think I have heard about him. Wow! Kind of like a perfect match, aren't they?"
Yoongi felt it as a dig at him; even though they had a good life, he was not artistic like Jungkook and seldom understood anything about art, unlike the man before them.

Jungkook smiled. "We should get going, Hyung. Here is my card. My new number is here." He took a card out of his wallet and gave it to Jin.
"Yes baby.." Jin got up and hugged Jungkook, staying a little longer than needed.
Jungkook felt Yoongi's eyes on his back.
He squirmed out of the hug, waved him bye, and quickly guided Yoongi out of the house. All he wanted to do was be as far away from Seokjin as possible.

Jungkook expected his boyfriend to ask questions, but to his surprise, Yoongi didn't ask anything and even acted normal throughout the day. It made him wonder if Yoongi actually saw something or not. But on the other hand, as soon as they met, Jimin seperated  him from others, bombarded him with questions, and threatened to kill him if he ever thought of going back to Jin. It took a lot of effort to calm him down, but he refrained from saying anything about Seokjin's strange behaviour or even what happened there with Yoongi.

The rest of the day went smoothly and according to plan. But Jungkook felt guilty for allowing Jin to act like that; he promised himself to talk to Yoongi and come clean to him even if he didn't see anything.
