Pain

"Ok now!! Aren't you guys cosy?" Kai smiled, seeing his sister and Yoongi sharing a blanket on the couch while he returned from work.

"He is good company. I like him!" she smiled, getting up from the couch.
Kai sighed "Glad you like someone I brought home, even though he is here for different reasons."
"Well !! Your choices stink when it comes to girlfriends. Try for a boyfriend next time. It seems like you have talent for finding good men rather than women." She patted his shoulder and walked inside, leaving Yoongi and Kai alone.

"Thanks, sis," Kai yelled while she flipped him off and closed her bedroom door.

Yoongi laughed a little. "She is savage."
Kai felt happy seeing Yoongi smile after all these days. "I knew you two would get along." He said smiling.

That day after leaving his apartment, he didn't have any idea of where to go. Taehyung's and Jimin's homes were not an option; he would have been found easily. And he chose not to contact any one of them, as they would spill his whereabouts to Jungkook in an instant.
He spent the entire night driving aimlessly through the city, and when the morning came, he parked his car in a remote place and slept for hours. He didn't want to be found, thatvis if Jungkook's was searching for him.

But by that afternoon he was woken up by Kai, who called him to inform him that he had been offered the position he had interviewed for, and somehow he sensed Yoongi was stressed and ended up inviting him to his apartment.

Yoongi  was a complete mess  the time he arrived at his door.Kai never expected Yoongi to cry in front of him. But the moment he was inside the apartment, Yoongi broke down. He almost cried to the verge of passing out. He and his sister had no idea what happened to him and it took  a lot of effort to make him feel sane again.

After calming down a bit, he spilled everything to Kai. He had to vent his anger and frustration somehow, and talking to Kai made it a bit easier on him.

It's been a few days since he's been staying there.
Yoongi called his parents to inform them about the fallout, and even instructed them to not tell Jungkook about his whereabouts for the time being.

"Soo yeah!!, he came there looking for you..again..just like the past days," Kai said, loosening his tie. It's only been two days since he started going to the office, but he heard from the other people that Jungkook had been coming since the day Yoongi left ,searching for him.
Yoongi nodded and sighed.

",I know you are angry and sad, but it's been days. So are you sure about this?  He looked desperate, Yoongi Hyung, like a total mess. It looked like he hasn't showered or changed his clothes; he has been wearing the same thing for the past few days."

"I don't care." Yoongi said, looking down. His heart hurt thinking that Jungkook might be sad. But whenever his mind goes soft , the image of him and Seokjin kissing pops up, and whatever feeling he has gets replaced by anger.
"So did you talk to HR?" Kai asked.

Yoongi nodded : "Yeah, they approved. I haven't taken my last vacation, so those days are there, and i ll figure out what to do in the meantime. I have tickets for the day after tomorrow."
Kai nodded, pursing his lips.

"He knows you are on leave. Your friend Taehyung was also aggressively asking HR and everyone about you. Jungkook hadn't noticed me there yet, thankfully.!! If he saw, he might come looking here too.What if they file a police complaint or something hyung!! "

Yoongi shook his head, huffing, "let's just hope tahtctehy won't. I'm sorry for causing you trouble. I know I just.. fuck..!!I didn't know what to do. Everything was messed up and overwhelming . I just wanted to escape from everything. Thank you so much, Kai. We are not even that close, and I just..."

"Heyy, I was happy to help. I asked you to never worry about that, didn't I?! What did your parents say?" Kai asked, keeping a hand on  Yoongi's shoulder
"They are fine with me staying there..but advised me to talk to him. Dad scolded me for jumping to conclusions without thinking. He said he wouldn't lie to Kook for so long. But it's..I don't know why I can't just bring myself up to face him..I most definitely need a break..I'm too tired," he said, rubbing his forehead.

Kai took a deep breath. He knew the man was hurting and the pain was making him completely blind. "Don't get me wrong, but I think your dad is right. What if there is an explanation?"

Yoongi looked up at Kai and said, "I saw him kissing that man; he had his arms snaked around his neck. He had a freaking bruise on his neck before that. It's not a coincidence. We have been together for 3 years, and this is not how a loving boyfriend acts. I'm sorry if I'm too old-fashioned or something. If he loses his morals and willpower every time he sees that man, then what am I? A fool?! Should I live in constant fear that my boyfriend will possibly run away with his ex-love anytime?!"

"I understand your pain. But as I said before, Jungkook seems to be totally in love with you." kais said
"He was.." Yoongi corrected." He was in love ..

..Now. I'm sure he is just guilty; I found him. Nothing else. He is a good guy at heart and probably feels bad that he led me on for all these years. He finally got his chance with his first love.. It's the best choice that i  get out of their way .As much as I'm angry, I want him to be happy too." Yoongi sniffled .

"Stop crying, Kookie," Jimin rubbed his best friend back as he cried into his arms.
"I can't find him, Jiminah. I went everywhere. I even checked the hospitals. I don't know if he is fine, but what if something happened?" Jungkook sobbed
"I m sure he is fine..HR said he contacted them right. So he is fine..Did you call his parents.? Maybe they know!" Jimin asked

"I did yesterday. I didn't want to scare them so  I didn't say anything, but they sounded normal. So maybe they don't know yet" he answered

"Can you tell me what happened, Kookie? I know you had a fight, and we both didn't want to bother you or hyung so we kept quiet but now its been long please stop crying and tell me what this is about! I'm sure it's not anything serious and we can find a good way to end this fight" Namjoon said.

Jungkook looked at both of them with his big eyes..he took a deep breath "I fucked up..I cheated on him, Hyung...." and he broke into another sob.
