The dead end

"You are packing?" Kai peeked through Yoongi's door and saw him packing his stuff into the suitcase he brought.
Yoongi turned to face him , "Yeah...!! I mean, there is nothing much to pack anyway," he said.
Kai nodded. "Call me if you need any help. When is your flight?"
"3 a.m., so I'll call a cab and go. You don't need to wake up," Yoongi said, smiling.
Kai sighed and went away.

It was dinner time, and Kai was about to serve some noodles he made to his sister Kwan and Yoongi when the doorbell rang.
"Can you get that?" Kai asked.
Yoongi got up, nodding, "Yea! Who is it at this hour? Did you order dessert or something?" He asked while going to open the door.
Kwan and Kai looked at each other but didn't reply to him.

Yoongi opened the door and saw Jungkook, Jimin, and Namjoon standing there. He felt a pang of pain seeing his boyfriend after so many days. Kai was right; he looked terrible. He hasn't shaved or combed his hair properly. His eyes looked dull and tired.

"Hyung.." he called and broke down as soon as he saw Yoongi.
Yoongi felt his own eyes watering. He realised that even if he hated him for what he did and anger was the only thing he felt for days, the love he had for him had not gone anywhere. Seeing him cry was breaking his heart, and all he wanted was to hug and kiss him again.
Yoongi took a deep breath, trying to control his tears that were dangerously close to falling out. He turned away from them to hide his tears.

"I m sorry! I know I went too far, but you need to talk, and he deserves a chance to explain. I have seen him looking for you like a madman all these days. I m sure he has something to say! So I got his number from Taehyung," Kai said, looking at Yoongi.
"Come on in, guys," he invited them inside.

"Yoongi Hyung!"" Jimin hugged him as soon as he came inside. "Why would you disappear like that? Do you know how worried we were?"
"Sorry," Yoongi said, pursing his lips.
Namjoon too hugged Yoongi , he was relieved that yoongi was actually fine.
"Hyung, talk to him, please. We will respect your decision, whatever it is, but please talk and clear things first."
Yoongi nodded
"Go on, take him to your room, Hyung," Kai said.

Yoongi slowly closed the door to his temporary room and looked at Jungkook, who was already inside. He was fiddling with the end of the hoodie he was wearing. It was evident that he was struggling to not cry once again.
"Can I hug you?" he asked his coice cracking
Yoongi shook his head. "No," he said, tearing up a bit.

Jungkook started sobbing as soon as he heard it.
"I m so sorry! I m really sorry. I don't know how I can make this right. But I'm so sorry. Please forgive me."
Yoongi knew he couldn't hold on any longer, so he let his tears flow freely, " Do you know what I felt when I saw you with him?! Do you know how I still decided to let go even after I saw that hickey on your neck the night before and you avoided me the next morning? Everything! Everything there proved that you have done something wrong. But I loved you too much. I decided to ignore and move on, but seeing you kiss him in front of me was the limit, Jungkook." He wiped his tears.

"I know.. I'm a fool.. I won't do anything like that ever again, babe-please."
He held Yoongi's hands and kissed them.
Yoongi took his hands back immediately. "That doesn't make what you did right!!. That man is still alive..still single..he told me..he told me he loved you! He divorced his wife for you!"
Jungkook's breath hitched for a second; he didn't know that Seokjin had told that to Yoongi. "I didn't know he did that!"

"I didn't tell you because I trusted you. I hated myself for doubting you. That's how much I loved you, Jungkook," Yoongi said, his voice cracking.
"Hyung,I kicked him out. I should have done that sooner, or even I shouldn't have invited him to our home."
"Our home." Yoongi laughed
"That's where you decided to cheat on me. The irony of it!!"

Jungkook didn't have anything to say back; he knew he was on the wrong side here. He just kept his face down, crying.
"Look at you being silent..feeling guilty?! Why ?was he not everything you imagined to be?!" Yoongi scoffed, his anger once again overruling his other emotions.
"I knew when I started going out with you that it was not easy..you were in love with that man..but still, after all these years..after everything we have been through, I expected you to be sure about us..I trusted you to at least not run into Seokjin's arms the moment he reappeared!!"

"I didn't sleep with him," Jungkook whispered, sobbing.

Yoongi took a deep breath. "You kissed him.!"
Jungkook looked up at his face again with his red eyes. "That was all that happened, babe. I kissed him, that's all," he said with big eyes.
Yoongi snorted, "How many times?"
"Yoongi..!!" Jungkook sobbed and called
"How many times? I know one time can be a mistake." Yoongi asked again.
Jungkook gulped and bit his lips hard. "A few times..." he said softly.
Yoongi huffed in anger and disappointment, "Was he the one kissing you, or did you kiss him back too?"
Jungkook looked down and closed his eyes. "I kissed him too."

Yoongi gritted his teeth and threw a pillow across the room. He got his hands on
"Fuckkkk!"" he yelled. He looked away from Jungkook to calm himself down. He knew it was true, but hearing it from Jungkook's own mouth hit him hard.

" Why?! Did I do something wrong? Did I not love you enough?" he asked.
"No babe..please!! It was a mistake..."
Yoongi laughed, wiping his tears. "It doesn't change the fact that you went on to kiss that man multiple times, and I don't consider it cheating.Maybe i am over reacting..but thats just how i feel..I need a break, Jungkook," he said.

Jungkook's eyes went wide. "You are breaking up?"

Yoongi sniffled "I don't know. Maybe i am.! All I know is that I want to be away from you right now. I m going to stay with my parents for a while, and when I come back, I will move out. I'll find another place to live. We can figure out what to do about the apartment later. I think it's better that way."

Jungkook came forward and grabbed his arms. "You are beeaking up with me over this hyung?"

Yoongi moved his hands away from his body. "What do you expect me to do?! If I were in your place, what would you do? You used to get jealous if I even talked to some other man..and here you are, going around kissing and making out with that man, the man who was your first love ..multiple times, and asking me to behave normal?!I don't think so!! Do you realise that you went on to cheat the moment he came back into your life? How do you think that makes me feel?!"

Jungkook stared at him in disbelief. All he could do was cry. He knew everything Yoongi said was true.
"We needed to take this break. I don't know when I will be able to forgive you or if I will ever be able to. But I need this. Even if I force myself to forgive, I won't be like the old me. I won't be able trust you for a long time. "Yoongi said

"Hyung.." Jungkook tried to hug yoongi.

Yoongi moved away from him. "Please don't make it more difficult than it is now!! It's not easy for me too, Jungkook..I imagined growing old with you..getting married and having kids..I planned a whole life with you..and it's all ruined now. So please leave and let me live my life peacefully " Yoongi bit his lips trying to control himself from crying again.

Jungkook crouched on the floor, his head down,. He gripped on to his pocket, which contained the jewellery box with ring he brought for Yoongi, the one he may never have the chance to use.

Yoongi looked at Jungkook. "I m not disappearing again..but staying away from you had helped me get a more peaceful mind. I said where I'm going right.!! I'll come back and I'll be around. But we need to end things here for now ,Jungkook."

Jungkook came out of the room slowly; he kept his head down, his hand still gripping his pocket hard.
"Kookie..what happened!!" Jimin got up from the couch and came near him.
Jungkook looks up at the three men standing there, waiting to hear from him. The moment he looked into Jimin's eyes, he broke down and fell to the floor, crying.
"Oh god!!"" Jimin ran towards Jungkook and hugged him once again, just like what happened years ago..while his heart broke into pieces for the second time, but this time Jimin was not sure that he was going to heal ever again.
